April 6, 2025Apr 6 My one-year extension expires on May 11. I neglected setting up an appointment until now when all of the slots until May 5th are full. At the age of 82, I don't have the stamina to sit around Chaeng Wattana all day. Could somebody kindly recommend an agent who will be able to quicken my processing time? I can prepare all of my papers myself. I just need someone who can get me seen and processed promptly. Any assistance will be much appreciated and, of course, paid for. Thanks in advance.

Use lunch break to update bank book and make small deposit. At 1pm when doors open those with que tickets are admitted first. Yes from there it's sit and wait Some discussion in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1352304-retirement-visa-or-marriage-visa-extension-at-very-old-age/

But recently I've found arriving very last minute minimises the wait the best. I think the queue tickets are stopped from 3:30pm, so 3:20pm would be safe. I did have a photo of the queue counter close times but I can't find it now so hopefully somebody on the ground can confirm. If you do this, owing to large numbers of dropouts and staff desperate to get home, you should be seen and done within 2 or possibly 3 hours.

Thinking the hours you posted (3.30pm) is correct. I certainly would not arrive during lunch break as you need to hop onto long line at 1pm to enter. Then also obtain Queue ticket.
April 7, 2025Apr 7 Author ThaiVisaCentre hasn't answered either of the two emails that I have sent to them. Does anyone have an alternative suggestion?

Here is another suggestion https://thaivisaexpert.com/retirement-visa/ Thai Visa Centre - Visa Agent https://g.co/kgs/zEzHcjY
April 8, 2025Apr 8 You can get a priority queue ticket on the basis of your age. Just mention it at the counter. It worked very well for me last time.
