I have lectured at several high profile Thai universities. Most of the students were from very wealthy / very prominent 'hi-so' families, many involved in corruption, collusion, sale of illegal / unapproved products, scams and more.

 

Many of these students less than honest about who actually completed many assignments. Some other examples:

Respect her honesty. She did you a favor. Typically gold diggers here try to grab whatever they can then move on to the next guy.

Dating, especially online is simply a qualification process and she showed you that she was unqualified, and she showed you that she was unworthy, so you just simply move on. I don't know why you would let something like this trouble you or bother you in any way. She's actually saved you a lot of time and money by showing you up front who and what she is and how desperately shallow she is.

 From my experience here in Thailand, Thai's seem to want to "Keep up with the Jones" as we say in the USA.  It's kind of built into the Thai culture of who you are status wise, how much money ($$$$) do you make, what type of car do you drive and house you live in both in the country you're from and in Thailand. Of course, you immediately do not want to friend these "Fakes!" Also, some of these Thai's, not all, even tell you that they are associated in some manner/form to the Royal family on to upside the conversation-Such an "INSULT!" Just Saying and my "OPINION!"

I have never heard this from a Thai woman. They simply don't speak like that.
