... though you didn't know 'how'... thus: my comment explains 'how' you likely or inadvertently gained access...
You'll need to know 'how' when you try and reconnect as the connection between your phone and the dash-cam is not a permanent thing and you may need to go through the 'reconnection process' next time you want to connect.... Particularly if you have AppleCarPlay or reset connections on your phone etc.
No answer for you - but I have had the same for about 2 months. Just my left one. I thought it was from friction from some of my t-shirts. Cortisone cream will calm it down - but it returns after a day or 2.

I know from a friend who subscribed that you are definitely only allowed to be signed in on one device at a time. So if you are signed in on your tablet you can't sign in on your TV. Obviously I don't know if that is the issue in your case, but the one device thing is properly enforced.
