Franklin CEO Says Some Institutional Investors Are Ditching US Stocks

(Bloomberg) -- Franklin Resources Inc. Chief Executive Officer Jenny Johnson said President Donald Trump’s tariffs are leading some large foreign investors to shift their money away from US markets.

“You definitely see non-Americans reducing — on the institutional side — some of their exposure to US equities,” Johnson, whose firm manages $1.6 trillion in assets, said Thursday in a Bloomberg TV interview. “We’ve seen that a bit.”

Short sighted is making posts about every little movement the DOW makes and using charts that are zoomed in or out to make your point seem meaningful. Also nobody in their right mind uses the DJIA. Aside from that it is sort of sad people that are so smart and know everything never seem to actually be able to use their knowledge and capitalize on it.

Only dumb people lose money when this happens. I laugh when i think of how many people have been buying these dips and making a boat load of money. I have said in previous posts i have been doing this.

Aside from that when Biden was in he would boast about record highs that were only a recovery back to levels before he was elected.

The market will fluctuate. Savvy investors can play the market in both directions. But yeah look momma it is up again. This dip has been almost a generational buying opportunity.

Thanks for the confirmation that I was correct about your shortsightedness, because that is what you just did.

Hogwash. In the long run this will be a small dimple on a chart. Again if you are so smart you make money off of it anyway. You would have to be a real chump to know Trump is going to destroy the market forever and leave your money there after all.

The markets selling off sharply on tariffs that were never going to be fully implemented presented a great buying opportunity.

Yeah I know that as a MAGA cult member you try to wriggle yourself out of your own statements when called out, because obviously you don't even yourself understand what you post.

Here it is for you again.

Sounds very convenient to me ....if your relying on brokers fees ....

What's wrong with staying fully invested? And let's say you do that and don't make a lot of portfolio adjustments.  How do "brokers fees" fit into that situation?   Your broker makes nothing unless you have a margin account and they loan out your shares for a fee.
