Thailand is important to the US for geopolitical reasons. Strong military ties, a history of military cooperation, a US foothold in the region, and so on. It's not enough of a big deal one way or the other, economically, but in the larger context, it is important because of its location.
Actually I'm likely a lot more intelligent than you, especially seeing from the content you post time after time. No explanations but short argumentative lines. And I'm 68. If I'm boring you, don't answer for others and don't bother replying. You only reply to get a rise out of people, which shows a lack of restraint, and that itself is getting old.
