An Israeli man has been apprehended for stealing a motorbike from a hospital parking lot in Wichit, Phuket. The crime occurred on April 21st, when the victim mistakenly left the key in the ignition, leading to the bike's disappearance.

 

After filing a report with the Wichit Police on April 24th, a swift investigation was launched to recover the missing vehicle.

 

The accused, Mr. Cohen, a 32-year-old Israeli national, was identified through surveillance footage and supporting evidence. The Wichit Police secured an arrest warrant on April 29th, and officers succeeded in locating Mr. Cohen at a hotel in Cherng Thalay, Thalang, the following day. Upon his arrest, Mr. Cohen admitted to his unlawful actions.

 

 

 

The vehicle was duly returned to its owner on April 30th, concluding the case. The swift resolution illustrates the effectiveness of local law enforcement and serves as a warning for those attempting similar crimes. Mr. Cohen was promptly taken to Wichit Police Station for further legal proceedings.

 

This incident highlights the importance of vigilance, even in seemingly secure locations, like hospital parking areas. The authorities acted swiftly, ensuring the culprit was brought to justice and safeguarding the public's trust in their capabilities.

Thats a bad habit, leaving the keys in the ignition, I saw one the other week outside Amazon with the key in the ignition,
