I pity the embassy staff having to waste time and energy visiting such a basket case in deportation jail and organise/finance his repatriation. That's what generous immigration and naturalisation policies lead to.

Eh??

What have "generous immigration and naturalisation policies" got to do with this?

Who applies the Zip ties ???

An individual exhibiting such erratic behaviour clearly requires close supervision.

Ideally, he should be formally charged and extradited rather than merely deported. This would ensure that a law enforcement agency assumes responsibility for both his actions and the safety of other passengers.

Were I in a position of authority within an airline, I would insist on blacklisting individuals who display this kind of disruptive conduct for the safety and peace of mind of everyone on board.

Immigration authorities have revoked the permission of stay, of a 25-year-old Belgian national after he was involved in two separate public disturbances at convenience stores in Chonburi province within a single week.

Mr Mustafa Hakan Aslan, a Belgian citizen, was first arrested on 26 April 2025 by Bang Lamung Police Station for damaging property at a Tops Daily convenience store. He was reportedly intoxicated and acting erratically in a public area. Although the shop agreed to drop the charges after Mr Aslan paid 35,000 baht in compensation, the incident was formally documented.

Just four days later, in the early hours of 30 April, Mr Aslan was again reported to have caused a scene, this time at a 7-Eleven store near Soi Yensabai in Pattaya. Witnesses stated he appeared to be heavily intoxicated and was behaving violently. Although no damage was reported and the store chose not to press charges, police from Pattaya City Station escorted him to Pattaya Pattamnakorn Hospital to ensure he did not pose a threat to himself or others.

In response to these repeated incidents, Chonburi Immigration Bureau, under the direction of Pol. Maj. Gen. Panumas Boonyalak, revoked Mr Aslan’s temporary stay permission. The decision was made on the grounds that his behaviour violated Thai laws and cultural norms, and posed a risk to public peace and safety.

Immigration authorities cited Section 12(7) of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522, which allows for the deportation of any foreigner deemed a danger to society or public order. Mr Aslan has been categorised as a prohibited person and will be barred from re-entering the country.

A spokesperson for Chonburi Immigration stated:

“Foreign visitors must not only respect Thai laws but also adhere to the customs and traditions of the Kingdom. Mr Aslan’s repeated disorderly conduct demonstrates a clear disregard for both.”

Mr Aslan was informed of the revocation and is currently being held pending deportation. His details have been added to the national watchlist to prevent his return to Thailand.

Even with your substandard use of the English language, one would assume that you mean more than 50% of Britons and Americans in Pattaya are pedos. Do you have any evidence to support this claim?

Well, and how many languages do you know?
No evidence, just a gut feeling. I am not able to be evident to all your dirty deeds.

I don't think one single report from the Guardian merits your comment regarding the majority of British & American tourists here. I have reported the comment to the moderators asking for it to be removed. AS IT IS LIE.

How many languages I speak is of no consequence.

Are you accusing 50+% of Brits and Yanks in Pattaya (and me) of being kiddy fiddlers, on your gut feeling?

That's true science, and quite a statement!

He clearly is unless you have evidence he was on a fake passport. Anyone that says otherwise is a racist bigot. There, easy to spout nonsense isn't it.

Just curious... How far back in 'lineage' do you accept someone is of a certain nationality ?

I've got a mate in the UK...   He is undeniably British, his father, is undeniably British, His Grandfather and great Grandfather British....   His surname is Zieliński....

...  I think his Great-Great-Grandfather may have escaped political oppression in Poland in the 1860's...

I'm not sure if I'm a 'woke liberal sellout' by thinking of him as nothing other than British...   do you save such accusation only for people of colour ????
