Popular Post webfact Posted Friday at 09:32 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 09:32 PM Picture courtesy of Thai PBS World The National police chief, Pol Gen Kitrat Phanphet, has issued a stern warning that the two doctors suspended by the Medical Council of Thailand may face a disciplinary probe. This follows allegations of ethical breaches linked to their treatment of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Initial information has been based on media reports, and official documents are awaited for definitive action. Reports suggest these doctors might be from the Police General Hospital. The ethics committee of the Medical Council found discrepancies between the medical certificates they issued and Thaksin's actual health condition. While their names remain undisclosed, the link to the Police General Hospital remains a topic of speculation. “If confirmed that these doctors committed offenses, they could face disciplinary action and punishment, given their status as police officers,” stated Pol Gen Kitrat. Additionally, the possibility of criminal charges looms if formal complaints are filed against them. Thaksin, who returned to Thailand in August 2023 after over 10 years abroad, was sentenced to eight years for corruption and abuse of power. This sentence was subsequently reduced to a year by a royal pardon. Upon arrival, instead of prison, Thaksin was moved to a VVIP room at the Police General Hospital, citing health reasons. His extended stay prompted allegations of special treatment and a suspected backdoor deal. This development raises concerns over integrity and transparency within Thailand’s medical and justice systems. The implications of this case could set significant precedents concerning ethical standards and accountability in medical practice. Adapted by ASEAN Now from Thai PBS World 2025-05-10 1 2 1

Popular Post Artisi Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM And what about the main player in this nonsense who would have requested this charade, fully played the part after ensuring the necessary distribution of funds were allocated, and is now waltzing around without any sign of his near death experience. He should be on top of the list for prosecution, not the poor fall guys who are now going to be crucified on his behalf to pacify those demanding some action. 2 5 1
Popular Post spidermike007 Posted yesterday at 06:04 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 06:04 AM They need a couple of fall guys, it would appear, as they're going after anyone but Thaksin himself, who is completely above the law, any and all laws. 1 7
paul1804 Posted yesterday at 06:16 AM Posted yesterday at 06:16 AM Well its no different to the Red Bull Heirs hit & run where police, the judiciary and the medical paternity colluded to knowingly falsify information involving the death of a police officer!! 1 1

newbee2022 Posted yesterday at 06:23 AM Posted yesterday at 06:23 AM Strange. In another thread it was said Thaksin is in hot water. Now they are surprisingly 3 already. Add some police and army members additionally. It's more fun to watch. 😁 1

Thingamabob Posted yesterday at 07:45 AM Posted yesterday at 07:45 AM I fear this investigation is not going anywhere, sadly for Thailand. 1

Grusa Posted yesterday at 11:06 AM Posted yesterday at 11:06 AM Has everyone lost sight of the fact that Mr. T was once a policeman? Could be relevant. 1
Sir Dude Posted yesterday at 11:10 AM Posted yesterday at 11:10 AM Obviously rotten to the core, just depends if there are any powerful enough people to bring the truth to the for... unlikely though.
connda Posted yesterday at 12:01 PM Posted yesterday at 12:01 PM Now wait for them to do the exact same thing to get Yingluck back into Thailand. Money is power. Power puts you above the law. With money you can paid others to take the fall.

I wonder if he will take his daughter within or let her hang. The PTp will surely die if he goes to court. As with everything he overestimated the thai people they are no longer the sheep he new and loved. The country is no longer red and yellow. It's truly orange and young and educated people are watching
