So what motivates him then?

It's almost as though he has skin in the game with his relentless threads.

Power, he wants a short few to rule the West - breaking down civilization creating chaos and mayhem by bamboozling stupid suckers like the blm crowd into believing in a delusional mirage that will end in their own demise.

The ladies don't really count as proper social interaction because of limited chat, only so many times you can say very hot

How big is your vocabulary? surely if you knew more words you could converse with them... it's not their fault you can't speak Thai in Thailand...

I know hundreds of Thai words but I would struggle beyond the most basic of conversations with most Thais.

I cannot intonate the words well enough. In tourist areas the Thais are more forgiving and have experience of 'Tinglish'. In rural areas the Thais are often like rabbits in the headlights when faced with talking to a Farang (as I am with them).

When I failed to purchase duck eggs, from a duck egg seller, in the local market I knew my limitations.......if I couldn't succeed with "Cor kai ped sam sip fong, khrup' then there was little hope for me. I found it quite sad that pointing would have yielded a better result.

How do you possibly find time to 'do stuff'? 😉

If you had a pound/dollar/euro for every post you put on these forums you'd be a millionaire by now.

It gets quite annoying when my GF will ask for the same thing in identical tones, after I have tried to break through the fog, and her version is instantly comprehended.

It's almost as if we are aliens with two heads, and they are focused on the video, not the audio.

I have the same issue in China and Thailand, but I only think I'm using the same tones.  I'm not really.

One of my first lessons when I arrived in China 25 years ago is that "la gi" can mean "garbage" or "spicy chicken", depending on the tone.  Coming from vowels, consonants and zillions of accents (all comprehendible), tonal languages are a challenge.

It's well known that the conversation is limited, I haven't just invented it, it's not just language but education and life experiences too.

I have a lawyer friend and she's got good conversation, we can talk for a couple hours no problem and frequently do

So, you limit your conversations only to people who you feel are your intellectual and educational equal? Don't want to dirty your feet with commoners annd people with illnesses...

how good is your Thai?

At least you tried - other members here think they are above the locals and it is not worth trying to speak with them. I lived in a village upcountry and loved talking with the locals... I found them pleasant and often quite funny.

one local chicken venodr told me that the chicken legs were smaller today. She could either give me 3 for 20 baht or a pair of glasses to make them look bigger.
