Which dressing for sandwiches/baguettes/salad?

Featured Replies

I've tried & liked most. Salad cream, mayonnaise, thousand island, caesars.

I don't think I've ever tried blue cheese for some reason. What's your favourite dressing?

Once you find this in Thailand, THEN we can talk about dressings.

Dijon mustard. For salad olive oil.

A sandwich can be semi healthy, add a bunch of fat dressing it is not.

Plenty of places sell a Reuben sandwich, Monty's at the commons in Thonglor goes good.

I like them with Three Three's pickles.

Dijon, regular mustard or  Italian Dressing for most french bread sandwiches. . Reuben with Thousand Island. Salad- Caesar, Olive Oil and Vinegar, Bleu Cheese, Italian, Red Wine Vinaigrette, Ranch, Northern Italian, Garlic Parmesan, Creamy Caesar, and lite versions of them-Ken's brand a favorite, along with Paul Newmans and a few others.

The 1970s called and they want their processed dressing back.

Reubens are a dime a dozen here, there are plenty of restaurants that do a decent incarnation

Ken's are some of the best flavored and available. Every dressing is moderately processed if it's in a bottle or jar. The same with Spaghetti sauce. Eating them since, yes, the70's and haven't any health problems besides coming here and getting H Pylori from the water. Yes, you can use olive oil and vinegar and be sure it's healthy, but most people eat processed foods and a lot of other garbage, so salad dressings used moderately aren't a problem.

Olive Oil on everything.

Add a few shakes of Thai Pric, and good to go.

You're just as bad as Malcy...  wanting to give a Thai Pric a good shake....  🇹🇭🍆👌

He's always going on about that stuff... :whistling:

Kewpie roasted sesame dressing.

It became available in the U.S. about 5-6 years ago, and I was pleased to find it here, even at a small upcountry Lotus's store.

I am in a "second-tier" city, so I must have stayed in my vacuum and forgotten that places do exist in LOS that have Reubens.  I've been to BKK many times, but I never looked for one.  Pattaya only one day over 15 years ago, and never Phuket.

apologies.

Back to my white rice.  lol.

Actually, it should be, Pric Thai, in the Thai language....as you know.

That's a long piece of string ... as depends on the sandwich.

Quality ingredients don't really need dressing.  Does enhance the flavor of some, though.

I think most vendors use way too much, since going cheap on ingredients.  Why we rarely order sandwiches out.

The salad dressing from pizza express. Can buy it on Lazada. It's similar to the one you can buy in Fuji but it's smoother and thicker.

Anything I prepare by myself. No processed junk 👎

For meat/cheese salads and sandwiches, widely available here in Siem Reap, Cambodia, my favourite is

I like a "CLT" = Chicken, Lettuce, Tomato sandwich

Chicken, lean, roasted, sandwiches, Hellman's Light Mayo + Sri Racha sauce.

Or.....

Houmous and Marmite and lettuce - really!

Always wholemeal bread.
