Anybody in the Sansai erea has experience with vertical draining rainwater in lawn  ? If so what materials used . Any information welcome .

5555 That is going to be expensive and pointless in monsoon rains. Make sure you have adequate runoff capacity and proper elevation. Lawns are not a thing.

Dead serious, like the dead lawn. The clay heavy soil does not drain well and the grass will fry in the heat. The grasses that grow here are lemon grass, rice and bamboo. Lawn grass will not survive without constant attention. At least look for high heat varieties like St. Augustine.
