Have you ever noticed this on the Sky Train?

Featured Replies

Whenever a foreigner is sat down, there is always an empty space next to him/her. Sometimes I've even seen when a foreigner takes a seat next to a Thai they immediately up and move to another seat. I was just on a short trip on a boat and met some classy Taiwanese women there and they couldn't get enough of me, asking questions, friendly, curious, one of them even asked for my phone number, which I politely declined. Definitely a stark contrast between the two experiences, and one that has given me food for thought!.

Many times the bus have been full, with people standing, and still Thai's won't sit on the seat next to me.

In COVID time's even worse !

Yes, it's very peculiar behavior isn't it?

All  that extra space just for the farang. Must be like travelling First Class.

Same in restaurants or coffee places.

They seem to not want to sit next to Falang.  Fine with me, whatever.

No. It feels like the Black Woman who refused to move to the back of the bus that sparked the civil rights movement in the states.

I just can't get over how friendly Taiwanese people are, especially the women. I reckon I'd clean up over there.

Well they can close the doors if they don't like it. Nobody is forcing Thailand to be a tourist hub - they brought it all on themselves!

TBH ........ i avoid looking at people ,  with only a few exceptions !miniskirt.jpg.bef4cabcc6b79833903f9744f0654968.jpg

The OP should head to any dark soi in Pattaya and within 30 seconds at least 3 pretty Thai ladies will come sit next to him… :coffee1:

Not even Soi 6, Mitter smith?

I shower  very regularly  and brush my teeth, but I've noticed Thai's putting masks on when ever i enter a shop

I have had the opposite experience.

i prefer to stand and leave the seats to the fat and elderly.

I have noticed that the women like to lean their breasts into me on corners and rub their behinds up against my genitals.

I get so lost in it I often miss my stop.

I think a lot of women come to Bangkok for work and have no friends and as a result are unite lonely so see the packed trains as a release.

Completely normal. All the ladyboys do that. Your situation isn't unique. But just continue to enjoy it.
