Different gun mentality completely

In 2022, the U.S. had a much higher gun homicide rate than Canada, with 6.3 per 100,000 residents compared to 2.27 in Canada. Statista's data indicates a significant difference, with the U.S. rate being more than twice as high. This disparity is consistent with findings across various studies, including the Connecticut General Assembly's report that found a higher average murder rate in the U.S. for all methods of killing, including those involving handguns.

I think the real correlation there isn't gun culture.  It's the ethnic make-up, but it's considered racist to call that out.  Though the FBI stats are pretty clear on who's shooting who.

The good thing, it is not only Usa who produces the F-35, even Norway contributes with technology, parts and weapon systems, as well financially contributing.

Yes, many countries do.

But main maintenance has to be done in the US

True, and for the moment, only Israel have the full version of the F-35

Sounds like a great deal for Canadians. I suppose the problem is they are convinced by their msm that the guy is literally hitler. Out of all illogical nations Australia and Canada top the bill, thanks to msm misinformation.

I hope for your sake you're joking as the alternative is too sad to contemplate.

Can the UK join as 52nd state. Anything but Starmer and his band of traitors.

Let's say AOC wins the next election in the US. Would you want out again? Yet another Brexit? Probably not, as you now see how disastrous that went.

Yesterday everything is fine. Magaman sipping his beer till Trump says Canada should be an American State. Today Magaman up in arm about Canada. And so it goes with every bizarre idea Trump comes with. No mind of his own just follow, zealously, what the great orange turd says.

You actually think Canadian leaders make decisions based on watching mainstream media?

They actually have conversations with the guy don't you know? They all now who they guy is mainly by his actions over the years and interactions with their heads of state and diplomats. They think he's a joke and a loose cannon wielding too much power with very little knowledge. He takes a lot of cues from his so called "cabinet"  and those people have some really strange ideas about how the USA should get along in the Global community

It doesn't take anyone with a good head on their shoulders to understand just how ill-informed, sophomoric and under educated Trump is.

The notion that the entirety of Canada could be state is completely unrealistic, ludicrous. I will never happen. It is next to impossible.

It's all hot air and the MAGA group Trump Fan boys just eat up his simple minded BS and ideas.

All I know is if you try having sensible discussion with the 2 nations citizens all you get is unhinged rants about "hes taking away all womens rights", "he will never allow another election", "hes a fascist dictator", "he will weaponize the justice system" that one is my personal favorite due to the jaw dropping hypocrisy and lack of self awareness.

They are living in a msm generated cloud cukoo land with zero links to reality. Might sound familiar to some here....

On May 20th, Donald Trump announced that plans for a new space-based missile defence system called the “Golden Dome”.

Trump said during the announcement that Canada had contacted the Trump administration and indicated that the country “want to be a part of it”.

“I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, Nation, but will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State. They are considering the offer!”

Trump to Canada: “It will cost you $61 billion, but zero if you become 51st state”

Donald, you're such a teaser with words- separate but unequal (ouch!) ...then cherished  (aw, you sweet thing).

I expect the lumberjacks will tell him where to go.

Come on Donald.  Just invade.  What are they going to do.  Hit US troops with hockey sticks?  Unlike Mexico, they're unarmed except for a few hunting rifles here and there.  Just annex Canada and call it a day.

Why not it is almost working for Putin?

It's debatable about whether it's really working.

Hundreds of thousands of Russians dead, Russian economy in ruins, interest rates at over 20 percent, a war that was supposed to conquer Ukraine in under a week still going three years later.

....and the Ruskies are down to using shovels and sticks against well armed and highly trained Ukraine troops who are pushing the Rusies back to the Urals right now, as Russia struggles to extract IC chips from old North Korean washing machines to fabricate their inaccurate missiles which only targets and kills Ukrainian civilians in unending war crimes.  And most Ruskies can't find food in their stores as all Russian taxes are now used to manufacture bullets and guns which are in short supply due to bone-crushing sanctions.  That Zelinsky is playing a strategic game of bleeding the Ruskie orcs on the battlefield, toying with them like a cat does a crippled mouse, as Trump begs Ukraine to stop the slaughter of the Ruskie animals and give them a chance to crawl back to Moscow where they'll surely overthrow Putin and send him to the Hague to face war crimes.

Yep - really bad news for the Ruskie Red Army - commie bastards.  Millions of dead Ruskies strews across the Ukrainian steppes as Trump holds the Ukrainians back from dealing a coup de grace of death and destruction to the Russian population of insects and sub-human slavs and cossacks who don't deserve to live for their crimes and aggression.  Grrrr.

If America annexed Canada, brave Canadian and America patriots can drive Westward though Alaska and across the Bering Strait and take it to Putin and Ivan right on his home turf, then Canadian Americans can annex all the mineral wealth or North Eastern Russia and make Siberia the 52nd State!!!

True, Canada military is crap. But isn't Canada too difficult to invade because of its vast geography?

Also, Canada has allies. Maybe they wouldn't fight, but would provide weaponry. It would be too much of a long drawn out war that would cost too much money for the US.

10 Countries that might provide aid according to this dude. He is actually implying they would send troops: Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, France, Australia, UK, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden.

Trump needed no help from MSM or anyone else for people to see an easy comparison between what trump is doing and what Hilter did to the various segments of govt, education, communication and arts as well as the actions to remove freedoms and rights of the segments of the population while he attacked his neighboring countries verbally and physically leading up to a world war. Does the scenerio sound at all familiar?

I think Trump is too incompetent to achieve what Hitler achieved in the beginning, although they are both known for their chaotic planning, (Hitler latterly), Trump now.

Our army is a joke

Ok. Do you know what our army was like before WWI or II? A joke by all accounts. How'd we do? Ramped up and joined the fight LONG before our southern neighbours. No need for a ginormous army or defence spending in peace times, unless your objective is to attempt to enforce your will on the rest of the world.

That's an incredibly naive, inaccurate statement.  Here, I fixed it for you:   No need for a ginormous army or defence spending in peace times, if your defense is taken care of by others at no expense to yourself.

Pretty silly for us all to put any time into a U.S.-Canada war hypothetical.  And there's no way any of these countries would supply anything to Canada.

Canada is moving to distance itself from U.S. military dependency by seeking entry into Europe’s major rearmament initiative.

Prime Minister Mark Carney announced this week that Canada aims to join Re-Arm Europe by July 1—a large-scale European defence investment initiative designed to reduce reliance on American protection. Speaking with Canadian broadcaster CBC, Carney argued the country must reassess where its defence dollars go.

to Gulags ,threatening other countries with war if they don't capitulate,

and he has only been in office 4 months , only difference ,I don't think

Hitler was corrupt ,if he was, no where near what your great leader is.
