I was not a Reagan fan or fan of Bush Sr. and Jr. But these men were much more equipped to be diplomats although their agenda was questionable to me in many cases.

 

IMHO, among all the Presidents I've known Trump has got to be the least articulate, least diplomatic President. He's obviously not much of a humanitarian, unleashes the most absurd rhetoric almost daily and is seems primarily concerned with himself, how he looks (at least in his own mind) and serving his own fragile ego. (for instance the TACO back and forth press conference)

 

Just unbelievable how modern propaganda techniques combined with the power of social media and it's algorithms tune programing to those susceptible to his subtle message of hate, intolerance, fear, protectionism, bigotry and the like. He's gained favor by stoking the fears and hate in others and giving them scapegoats to blame for what they think is lacking in their lives. (Immigrants and the radical left he says) His supporters appear to have embraced being victims that actually think he has their best interest in mind.

 

One can only hope and pray (if they have a God in their lives) that something will happen to change him in a radical and transforming way. Something to help him understand the errors of his ways and do a reversal of sorts.
