Did you pop over to Jak's for a beer.  For a 5 star they've got the new Eastin Resort a bit east of there.

I'm not sure where Jak's is, but if it was one of the neighbor bars we did not. 

 

I will check it out, but the thing with this hotel, it is right on the beach, and you hear the waves in the night. I sleep like a baby when I can hear the waves ☺️

 

Stayed at Hilton in Rayong, and it was fullpacked with Chinese. Not going back there

The air is humid and thick with a pungent fragrance of plumerias, perfect weather for a stroll…

Not good view from the room, but okay from gym and pool. At least some floors up

Another day, another view. Nice 14celsius tempered Norwegian Summer. Free aircon as my wife says.

 

Arrived early yesterday morning to nice almost clear skies. Now sleeping 17 hours almost waking up to this gray nice calming rainy weather. Coffe time

Here's a new view ... getting tired of the weeds.   So getting yanked out & covered over.   All this hay, got me thinking about a horse.   Not sure I want another pet.  Then I'd have to build it a mini barn, which I'd have to add Solar to ... hmm.   Do need a new hobby

Saw that in Mickey Stotch's YT vid yesterday, and thinking about popping up for a visit.  Maybe overnight at Phetchaburi, as someplace I never really checked out much.   Just a couple spots.

Sai Cave and Bueng Bua Wood Boardwalk. Both are part of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and in a cheap Charlie move I visited both today, saving 200 Baht entry fee. You could add Phraya Nakhon Cave and save even more. But that may be a bit too much (exercice I mean).
