Krungsri online banking discontinued from 1 October 2025

Featured Replies

It seems I forgot what I was supposed to ask👴. Do I have to go to the bank with the above mentioned printed out documents when I finished the application online and can already use Krungsri Biz online?

Thanks

I HATE that... I HATED it too when SCB recently did the same thing.   I really dislike trying to do personal banking stuff on a mobile phone screen. I'd 100% rather be doing it via my person

🤔How did you first around get the OTP? As mentioned in my previous post above I got a temporarily password by sms and an email with my previous username from Krungsri online after filling in documents on Krungsri Biz online!😕

The OTP was the temporary password to use with the previous username. Logged in and changed the password.

I did the same today and am up and running with Krungsri Biz online.  I don't know how the rest of you did this but first I filled out a form (online) according to Krungsri's instructions when it was done I was told to print it out and take that form with me to the Krungsri bank I use within 7 days! Which made me a little surprised😞 because I thought it was possible to do it all online after what I read on AN and also on the web to Krungsri Biz. However I thought not today😑. Anyway about 5-6 hours later I got an SMS from Krungsri Biz in Thai with a message with a temporary password and an email with the same username from Krungsrionline.com Logged in with that and as mentioned up and going with both accounts there but what about bankbooks from Krungsri online. Will it be like before or do they have to be canceled?

Thanks

Do you have the link for the form?

I have received no email or SMS with OTP.

I have a Krungsri Biz Online, but as it is joint, I cannot add my sole account.

I believe this is the link for the form.

Go to Krungsri Biz Online and then click on "How to apply" and follow instructions.

Not to mention that it makes banking much easier when you travel

That also works here, although not every merchant has a machine for it.  Wave your card (or phone) at them and say "TAP".  Then do exactly the same as you did in the UK.

Do you know what the maximum limit per contactless transaction is in LOS, please? Unlikely to be anywhere near the £100 (= ฿4,400) UK limit, I would have thought.

My QR scan limit is 5000 and I can't increase it.  Tap to Pay limit is 1500.

Great news on the Krungsri Biz Online front, judging from recent posts! Does anyone know whether SCB and KTB likewise gave subscribers to their online personal banking facilities an opportunity to switch to business accounts before pulling the plug?

I've read about the Krungsri Bank allowing this migration, but I can't find any information on HOW to do it.

I HATE using my phone for banking business. I do it all from my PC.

SCB did NOT give me an alternative to migrate to their online Biz accounts. That's why I closed my account at SCB a couple of years ago and went to Krunsri.

If you find out HOW to migrate to Krungsri Biz, please post it.  Thanks.

@anchadian Thanks.

@Felt35 Thanks. My issue seems a bit more complicated, and as yet unresolved. Since I already have a Krungsri Biz Online (which has me as the "Control", but another named party, effectively a joint account), Krungsri 1572 have told me I need to close the existing Krungsri Biz Online and open a new one with only my name, (by going into a branch etc etc). The jury's still out whether that is the case, as I am waiting to hear back from my relationship manager.

I did express a little dismay (!) that what should be simple issues have not been considered before this plan was hatched. The phone banking guy said "yes", there were IT issues that still needed to be sorted out. Quelle surprise!

If you have a Krungsri Online account, (and view it on your pc), you should get an email and SMS with OTP instructing you how to change. However, as I noted, if there are slight variations in your account, it will require more work. Call 1572 and press "0" then "3" and you will get through to the Biz Online team.

Once you change to Biz Online you can view both through pc & app.

Krungsri Bank is doing a fantastic job of migrating their customers into Biz Online who want to continue doing their banking from their PC.

Within about 5 minutes after sending them an email requesting a temporary password for me and my wife, the phone rang. Very helpful bank representative walked us through the process over the phone.

DONE. IN. Hat Tip to Krungsri Bank.

I closed my account with SCB two years ago because they could not accommodate me doing my banking from home on the PC.

Thank you, Krungsri Bank!

I also received an email and SMS inviting me to apply for the Kungsri biz online but have received no username or temp password in order to log in.

All I can think of is that you have to be under 70 years of age in which to apply.
If this is the case, why did they send me an email and SMS?

Has anyone successfully applied who is 70 yrs or order>

Go to your branch and tell them you want to migrate to Biz Online. They'll set you up.

A friend who was using the app wanted to migrate. Went to the branch. He used his account number and the temp password they gave him to log in, and then changed his user name and password to ones that he wanted.  Nothing to it.

Thanks Ricohoc.  Will be going to a Krungsri branch in the mall tomorrow.

75 yo and no problems signing in even though it is against their policy statement that they ask you to look at.

One problem I have is the credit card is shown as an account but has zero funds available and zero owing and cannot access it. Spoke to their help line yesterday and they said it was a problem that would be fixed in a few days.

If you do that, do you still keep your Private Banking benefits?

What are the "Private Banking benefits"?

I have seen no change in my account since migrating to Biz Online.

For information:

For those that wish to switch to Krungsri Biz online and who didn't receive a username and temp password on 01 July can switch to biz online by completing the form on their website  https://www.krungsribizonline.com/BAY.KOL.Corp.WebSite/Common/Login.aspx?language=en

1.  Register now

2.  Individual register for those without ATM card or debit cards (will also accept those who hold the above cards).

3.  Accept and submit the next two pages.

4.  Fill in your account number
5. Complete and sign the next page and take to any Krungsri branch.

For those that are aged over 70 years, this will be effective sometime this coming Friday when they will amend the DOB for the over 70 years

The Krungsri biz team will call me during Friday when the above change is actioned.  I will post again when this is done.

Hopefully then, regardless of age, we can once again all continue using online banking on the PC's.

I would mention as per my last post, I did go to a Krungsri branch and the officer told me that I had to be over 70 years and were not aware of the forthcoming change.  This particular branch has now been notified accordingly.

This morning, Krungsri Biz Online registration form has now been updated to allow all individuals holding a Krungsri online account to switch to Biz online with no age restrictions.

Just in case you are in the same situation as me.....

Received the SMS and emails to say that on July 1st I would received a user id/password email.

Nothing.

Contacted the help desk via the KOL website - 'contact us'.

They said to call 1572.

(Then press 2 then 4 then 3.)

Called 1572,  they answered quite quickly, and after a discussion, a wait, and another discussion, she said to go to my local branch and ask them.

She then added, if they do not know what to do, tell them to call us and we will tell them???

The help desk also explained that I did not have my personal account moved to a Biz account on 1st July because I am over 70 years old!!!

Soooo I trotted off to my local branch.

After the usual one hour wait, I was called to the counter.

I explained the situation.

Lots of questions back and forth and the girl eventually said - call head office.

I explained that head office said that you might say that and that you should call them and they will explain the solution to you.

She called head office.

The result.......

I can use the existing KOL personal website until 30th September.

I will then receive a user name/password on the 1st October for the Biz online website..

Maybe. (I will still be over 70 years old :whistling:)
