I've never told anything but the truth. That you forget things is on you. Yes, I met my girlfriend in Isaan. I came back a few times and married her, she got pregnant, didn't want (then) to move to the states, wanted to be around her family, most of whom she hates, and stays away from as much as possible. I moved here, built a house. She is a nutter, so I divorced her for valid reasons. I live here because I'm planning to leave as soon as I can relocate with my daughter back home. Now take  notes so you don't forget again.

On a tangent, the young people these days seem to want to change the term 'farang' to mean all foreigners, not just whitey. 

 

One chap on Reddit told me it's because the Thais mispronounce "foreigner".  They either don't know or don't care about the conventional theory that it comes from a Persian word used to describe Western Europeans.

The foreigners are not mentioned or reported as being farang or being white. So they are probably Laos, Vietnamese, Chinese, Burmese, or Cambodian or Indian.

Where does it say they were white? Or wealthy? It just said foreigners. So probably Laos,Burmese,  Chinese,  Vietnamese or Indian.

If that the big shopping mall with the hotel, then there are 2 bathroom access points within a couple minutes walk from where they were urinating. There is one right in the hotel lobby, and there are the shopping mall toilets next door with a big sign pointing the way. There was no need to  urinate where they were.  I don't like having to walk through a cloud of urine stench on my way to Big C. Do you? Do you think the hotel needs  drunks peeing  at its entrance?
