Report Alleged Imposter Lures Teen in Chon Buri; Mother Vows Legal Action

In a disturbing incident in Chon Buri's Mueang Sattahip district, an 18-year-old man allegedly pretended to be a police spy to lure a 14-year-old girl from her home. The girl was subsequently handcuffed and dragged into a nearby banana grove. Her mother, identified as A, has filed charges against the suspect and is determined to see the case through to its conclusion.

 

The incident unfolded on the night of June 8, around 11:30pm, when the girl received threatening messages from the man, claiming he was a police spy and warning her of arrest unless she met him outside. Alarmed by the threats, the girl was coerced into meeting him near her home in Chuen Suk 5 village, about 50 metres away.

 

Once at the grove, the suspect handcuffed her right hand and forced her left arm behind her back, insisting he needed to take her for questioning and instructing her not to disclose the encounter. Demonstrating remarkable courage, the girl fought back, kicking the man in the groin and stomach, which allowed her to escape and rush back home, calling for help along the way.

 

Upon her return, her mother discovered bruising on her daughter’s wrists and body, especially where the handcuffs had been applied. The girl, visibly shaken, remained in terror and distress, unable to stop crying. Her mother, who battles depression and requires medication to sleep, was initially unaware of her daughter’s absence. She asserted her daughter has no links to drugs or e-cigarettes, refuting the man's accusations.

 

It emerged that the suspect had previously attempted to contact the girl during the Songkran festival, seeking to initiate a relationship through chat messages. After a brief pause, he resurfaced, employing the same deceptive tactics to entice her out of her home.

 

The mother reported additional injuries on her daughter's buttocks, shoulders, and wrists, and the clear imprint of handcuffs. The incident left the girl traumatised, especially anxious at the sight of anyone resembling the assailant.

 

Determined to seek justice, the mother has reported the matter to the police, insisting on legal pursuit. It was noted that the handcuffs used were atypical and not standard issue for police use. The Sattahip police are actively investigating the case and are working to apprehend the suspect to face legal proceedings.

Obnoxious animal...   Abduction and Impersonating a Police officer -  Lets hope they throw the book at him, rather than a soft legal approach (which is what we sometimes see)...

 

I wonder if this will draw the same venom from the posters who were so quick to 'hang him high and deport' the Frenchman who recently forced a sexual encounter with an underage girl (even though this girl was not underage - still just as despicable).

 

Me thinks - because no foreigner was involved, the usual posters will not turn to this thread as they can't post their 'anti-foreign rhetoric' and Thai's behaving obnoxiously does not strike their 'anti-farang' radar with the same impact...

Love to see a girl fighting back against this kind of human garbage. Too bad it might come down to a few thousand baht compensation and a Wai instead of teaching him a lesson were he might think before he tries this again.
