A recent poll showed about 50% of expats end up with one, the tourists have less opportunity to meet real girls on their holidays than expats and are lonely when they get back to the real world.

I would say about an 80% or more failure rate for those that take them out of Thailand.

I know of only 1 couple out 7 that are still together 15  years latter.

The few of them I referred to where all polite, didn't drink much or at all, and where doing some kind of sports. They had a plan and managed to get out. 

 

I never traveled with those partygirls animals crazy rude ball rubbing girls who only wanted to take you on a tour in the red-light district for more drinks.

 

I befriended a few also living in the same appartment building in my younger days , so I dare to say, not all of them are bad.

Your numbers are for each month I would assume. Most bar girls screw that many men in a month. What about those women who have worked as a bar girl/ prostitute for many years? 

Can you imagine the uncertainty of (is that baby really mine) a man would have to face getting one of those girls pregnant? 

 

It is very hard to get the bar out of the girl as well as the attraction to the quick money they can make and their bar girl friends and the excessive drinking. I am not saying it is impossible but!!! 

 

One other thing. I don't know about that... My last trip to Pattaya is seemed most women there were in their late 30s to early 50s haha... Getting fat and old and ugly already..

We have been married for 20th ears, generally free from these situations, but there have been a couple of times like this over the past years since we moved back to Issan. Living in the south, she worked in a kindergarten, southern women tend not to see the bars as a quick way to make money, and her life was stable, being around normal working people.

More like 6-10 per day in Soi 6.

So more like 40,000 for the prettiest ones and 60,000 if they extend the career to 35.

 

At 1,000 a pop that is 60 million baht. Not easy work, hundreds of liters of sperm,  but rewarding financially.
