Trump merchandise sold at Fort Bragg for president's speech. The sickening graft continues.

Trump merchandise sold at Fort Bragg for president's speech now under review

"Earlier this week, Trump spoke at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in celebration of the Army's 250th birthday. At the event, vendors were spotted selling Trump merchandise -- including "Make America Great Again" hats and other "America First" swag. The practice is likely at odds with long-standing Defense Department policy, which prohibits troops from wearing political garb such as hats or flags or expressing their political opinion while in uniform."

WOW! I have to ask. When Biden did his speeches or even went outside. Did you complain about all the vendors there selling his name on hats and shirts and pins as well. The way you post this is very deceiving and makes someone think at first glance that Trump himself was profiting from paraphernalia. You must really hate Trump to post such a thing here like it was a bad thing.

GRAFT??? Haha you need to google and find out what the word means..

The merch, was being sold by private vendors, the troops were not wearing any of the items so there was no contravention of Defence Department policy so characterising it as "sickening in-your-face grift" is a little over the top.

In some cases, troops were seen wearing the Trump political merchandise, including MAGA neck chains, in uniform.

No. Nothing with Trump is over the top. A wet fart is a scandal.

Not a scandal but certainly some gagging among Pete, JD, Kirsti, Pam and the rest of the clowns that have their tongues up his sphincter.

Sure. But it has to be shipped from China, though.

OMG....OMG....OMG....

From the article:

And the Army's internal objections were ultimately brushed aside. The vendor appeared at the event put on by America250, to the shock of Army officials on the ground.

At the helm of America250 is Executive Director Ari Abergel, a former deputy communications director for Melania Trump and a producer for Fox & Friends, a flagship morning news talk show on Fox News. The commission tapped Event Strategies Inc., a political event firm with deep Trump-world ties, to handle logistics for both the Fort Bragg appearance and the upcoming Army parade

And this:

They feared selling the merchandise could undermine the military's carefully maintained image of political neutrality, according to two officials familiar with the internal pushback. But on Tuesday, the vendor, 365 Campaign, was on the Army base anyway, and soldiers purchased clothing and items like "Make America Great Again" chain necklaces and faux credit cards labeled "White Privilege Card: Trumps Everything."

This is one of the more minor bad deeds but it is interesting that Trump supporters here never or rarely are  able to say - yeah this is a bit bad - Trump should do better. Instead it's almost like they feel they are profiting too  - not by money but by being able to laugh at people who stick to norms of behaviours and ethical standards

The really disturbing aspect of Trump's actions nowadays is no matter how outrageous they are, it is accepted as normal.

Relax, it's the "American Way". = Accumulate as much monetary wealth as possible. How is of no importance. Poor people admire rich people, as they may become rich as well someday. The undying American Dream. "Losers" get no mercy, "it's their own fault".

It's not a desease, it's capitalisem in it's purest possible remaining form. It's a commercial/religious concept that will be upheld for as long as possible by the "finpol elite" in this country.

Finpol? = Financial/Political Elite. Not seperable.

It’s really part of the whole “I’m special, the rules don’t apply to me”

or he’s a K$NG and makes the rules for himself and his friends.

None of the people commenting here think everything Trump does is Gold. On Yagoda does. Frank is a Putin fan and the others are here because their boss told them.

I love wearing President Trump hats and tee shirts. I have several hats and a collection of shirts as well. If I were attending the Fort Bragg event, I would have bought some more Trump goods. Even old dementia Joe liked to wear Trump hats.
