What do you think, MG EP 300K Discount?

Featured Replies

The MG EP is down from 771,000 to 469,00 Baht

I have a relative with a 600,000 baht budget for an ev car.

This being cheaper than Dolphin standard and the MG4 standard range sounds like a better deal?

The downsides of this car is the poor range, and only 50kW DC charging, which is kinda slow, specially after battery passes 50% SOC.

I do see a lot of Taxis using this car now, so it might be a nice discounted buy.

Unless you need the extra room, think I would spring for the extra 100k and get the MG4, with the lifetime battery warranty.  If going the sedan route.

I need a SUV. or we would have got the EP in 2022, as only 2 real options, since Atto 3 was just hitting the market, and BYD not established in TH yet.

EP & ZS are getting phased out, replaced by ES & S5.

ZS also on a 699k promo, from 829k.

Only if you're in Bangkok

  • Customers can pick up the car at Maxus Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., On Nut Road, Bangkok.

I'd buy this car for this price if it was in Chiang Mai. But Bangkok not much use.

Yeah, it would take you 3 days to drive it back 😁

yep, very painful trip! range is small 240-280 and DC charge is slow, <50kW

Thanks for the comments, I already told them to keep looking, wait for a discount, or get the Dolphin or MG4.

Which makes total sense when seeing 1000s on the roads...

@brfsa2  MG4 comes with lifetime battery warranty.  EP does not.  And MG4 is under the budget ... have to peek at the 'promo' page, or you don't see the sale prices.
