Win the most votes and denied by the Senators to form a Government!!!

Actually whichever party wins the most seats (251) AND can form a single or a coalition government Is the most important. If any party wins less than 251 seats and cannot form a coalition government, they lose by default, then the party with the next number of seats gets the opportunity.

For the longest time there will be no coup. The background has changed. For a start refer to the current army chief background and how he got the top job.  Much has changed since and it’s

Which coup?

But Thaksin was found guilty by the courts controlled by the illegal military coup that overthrew him.

If the coup was illegal, then every judicial decision following must be illegal as well.

But that is the problem with politicians worldwide, and not just in Thailand.

You're overthinking things.

Yes, agreed, but these buggers absolutely and barefacedly finesse the impropriety of it all

Once again: sensational headline and then...zero content:coffee1:

We all know the Senators were and still are corrupt 100%

Oh dear. Poor Prawit. His party doesn't have enough sitting MPs to validate him as a potential PM. I guess he'll need a coup to make that happen.

Yes, free press here is several years, possibly decades away.

This is what they talked about and why it is such a mess... Anutin is out, for now

 Key Discussion Points

  1. Border Dispute with Cambodia

    • They talked about an armed clash on May 28 along the Cambodia–Thailand border, which led to the death of a Cambodian soldier .

    • Paetongtarn referred to the Thai army’s stance as “just wanting to look cool,” urging Hun Sen to ignore that narrative and focus on peace.

  2. Addressing Domestic Political Pressure

    • She acknowledged serious internal backlash—particularly from military-aligned groups—and asked Hun Sen not to listen to her “opponent,” a senior Thai army commander.

    • In the call she referred to Hun Sen as “uncle,” reflecting long-standing personal and diplomatic ties .

  3. Private Negotiation Tone

    • The tone was conciliatory and diplomatic, intended to de-escalate the border crisis through personal rapport and back-channel dialogue.

 Fallout from the Leak

  • Leak and Public Outrage: A nine-minute segment was leaked (the full 17 minutes was later released publicly by Hun Sen). Paetongtarn was criticized for using informal terms and allegedly undermining military credibility.

  • Coalition Collapse: The conservative Bhumjaithai Party pulled out of the coalition, citing the audio as proof she had “wounded the country and the army’s dignity,” jeopardizing her government.

  • Diplomatic Repercussions: Thailand lodged a formal protest, summoning Cambodia’s ambassador, calling the leak a breach of protocol

Ah, the famed sleepy-head General times his entrance perfectly.

Waits and watches for his moment of sleepy triumph from the wings -

The second something occurs - he's up and running.

He knows the stopwatch is running.

It's just as matter of time now......

He's awake ............. for now!

What's that outfit he is wearing? Looks like he is advertising Aeriel Washing powder.

Maybe it's a Thai Watch Appreciation Society shirt

In 2014 the fat generals took over the country at the point of a gun and tank barrel.

Clearly you weren't here.

Or Thai Watch Appreciation Team.

And who woke up the old goat this time?

Before this human manured brain opens his mouth again he might undergo some lengthy lessons in behavior in public as well as how to treat women respectfully. He prefers men - quite obviously - but this is not a free pass to mistreat female journalists in particular and women in general the way this old spineless geezer has behaved in the past.

Also make sure that he wears slip proof slippers to avoid, that anyone would have to clean up after he falls again 😞  A disgrace to army and country!

Well said people dun understand such a simple logic and concept

This antique general , who struggles to keep awake at political meetings, is the main cause of the bullsh*t the Thai people have to suffer from corrupt officials. Remember this guy. " General Prawit Wongsuwan". he belongs in prison and does not care one iota about his Thai citizens but only cares about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I like that. I'm just annoyed I didn't think of it myself.
