Have you had a problem where a bathroom ceiling becomes stained due to a minor a leak from the pipes above? Or have you been asked to have a leak repaired that is affecting the ceiling below? I don't live in Hillside 4, but it is a very common problem in condo's up and down the country. It is the result of very poor workmanship and possibly, the cause is due to the floor being laid and then realizing the pipework has not been installed. The result is a hammer and cold chisel to make the holes. The plumbing is then laid and cement to fill the gap, but no correct sealant used. The blame is squarely on the shoulders of the builder. Unfortunately, he is possible long gone. Solution??????

Sealant to seal the hole  repair like in or around the cement or what?

pipe leak or shower pan leak or floor leak?

Probably best to repair the pipe by using a jackhammer to bust up the concrete, repair the pipe then tidy it up with fresh concrete.
