Looks good, well done Thailand. Wonder if they used any extras from ASEAN Now 😋

Just hope it’s better than the last ‘girl power’ one with whatshername.

Could go some way to explaining to the burst of activity from somewhere of the "dinosaurs"!

Chatuporn Pakdeewanich, Director General of the Thai Department of Tourism, highlighted the economic impact of the film’s production. "The film selected Thailand for its beautiful scenery, contributing significantly to the local economy with investments surpassing 400 million baht (approximately US$12.2 million)."

The production employed over 2,245 Thai workers, from crew members to local service providers, boosting local employment. This is one of the largest-budget foreign films shot in Thailand, further enhancing the country's image on the international stage.

TAT is really clueless. To think a movie that will be made mostly using AI of dinosaurs wil increase tourism simply because it displays some of Thailands landscape is ridiculous. I can see it now, Thousands of UK citizens rushing to buy tickets to Thailand after seeing the movie haha...

Also, I fail to see how the making of a movie increases local employment? Most of the crew for the movie was imported. And any work given to locals would have been temporary. Not a real job.

I spent over three years in Smallville, Kansas, looking for Superman.  Still there.  After I find him, I'll go to Springfield.

Wow, then maybe Thailand.

Why did you look in smallville when he was in Metropolis?

Maybe not so ridiculous.

Seems to have worked for New Zealand after the Lord of the Rings movies.

"The annual tourist influx to New Zealand grew 40%, from 1.7 million in 2000 to 2.4 million in 2006, has been attributed in large part to The Lord of the Rings phenomenon.[5] 6% of international visitors cited the film as a reason for traveling to the country.[6]"

Some of the extras included Prayut as a Grumposaur, Prawit as a Sleeposaur, Anutin as a Weirdosaur and Thaksin as Daddyosaur. It's a family movie.

Premiering in major cities like London and New York, the film prominently features Thailand's breathtaking locations, including Krabi, Phang Nga, and Trang. This cinematic exposure is anticipated to draw global tourists keen to explore these picturesque settings firsthand.

The only thing breathtaking about those locations are the sheer number of Indians and Russians.

What is said and what is done are two very different things. Do not expect Jurassic Park, or you will only get disappointed when Somchai turns up dressed as Barney!

Can you even point to Krabi, Phangnga or Trang on a map, becasue you certainly haven't been there?

Didn't they say exactly the same thing about White Lotus? And that turned out to be a damp squib.

Did it?  It was one of the most watched and best reviewed 'cable' series of the year!
