I dont know. I'm not a weed expert.

Only tried it once and I had intense paranoia.

Now I am afraid of weed.

Yeah Siem Reap is on the bucket list for sure. Kymers seem to be friendly at least in Bangkok they are.

Cafes with laydown snooze or book reading areas. One in Chiang Mai where you can lay down and read. That's fantastic. I've read 3 books in a week.

You're one of the more sensible and positive types. These negative guys must have a reason for being so negative. I feel sorry for them.

I find that Khmers are a bit more friendly, but that could be the difference between folks living in a mega city vis a vis a small provincial city.

I alwys foun d the folks in places like Lopburi and Surin to be friendlier that in BKK

You think that's it? They seem very immature. If they can't name some positives what are their inner thoughts? Words reflect your inner thoughts.

A lot of people have arrested development.

No time spent thinking a bit more profoundly about things.

But a lot of intelligent people on this forum as well. Who don't always post much ...

Pretty sure they got the booze part down, but didn't have or save any money for the hookers, or they wouldn't be so, negative, grumpy, miserable :coffee1:

In Chiang Mai I stayed north of the old city hardly any farang then moved near night market for a few nights with lots of farang. A whole bunch of unhappy looking farangs in bars. The vibe was horrible. A study found people with negative thoughts give off different sweat.

Yeah I think sometimes but according to Tolle not thinking much is best.

Think less, do more

Eckhart Tolle emphasizes the importance of not being controlled by constant thinking, stating that the incessant mental noise prevents individuals from finding inner stillness and the realm of Being.2 He suggests that thinking is a tool, but it becomes problematic when one confuses thoughts with their true self.7 Tolle highlights that the mind's chatter often creates scenarios of things going wrong,

Why you should avoid toxic people

Studies have shown that humans can detect and respond to emotional signals through chemosignals present in sweat. These chemosignals can convey both positive and negative emotions, influencing the emotional states of those who come into contact with them. For instance, research has demonstrated that exposure to sweat collected from individuals experiencing fear or disgust can induce similar emotional responses in others.2 Similarly, a study found that sweat from individuals in a happy state can induce a simulacrum of happiness in receivers, suggesting that positive emotions can also be communicated through chemosignals.2

In a notable study, men were asked to watch videos intended to induce specific emotional states (fear, happiness, or neutral), and their sweat was collected and presented to women. The results showed that women exposed to sweat from men in a fearful state exhibited fearful expressions, while those exposed to sweat from men in a happy state showed happier expressions.2 This indicates that chemosignals can influence emotional states and behaviors, even when the emotional content is not explicitly communicated through visual or auditory means.

Being busy is the best way to quieten the mind. The mind is not you either. The mind is just a computer that you own. Tell the computer what you want. Don't take orders from the mind.

Correct, The level of English is higher among Khmers vis a vis Thais.

Siem Reap being an international tourist city has probably the highest overall english use in SE Asia. Fabulous place.

Toxic people are rare in Siem, because the universal etiquette is to smile and be friendly. Cant do that, you wont last here.

Problem is the amount of riff raff who get tossed out of Thailand
