Doesn't make sense that these people vote against proscribing 'Palestine Action' a terrorist organization?

What possible reasons could they have?

The following is a very sound reason. It's the thin edge of a wedge.

If the Police, Crime. Sentencing and Courts Act of 2022 wasn't bad enough (does anyone feel any safer?), you ain't seen nuthin' yet. The Crime and Policing Bill 2025, like the aforementioned Act that was sleepwalked through parliament by a bunch of Tory quitters, will be 'whipped' into legislation by the imperious Starmer, his cohort of inadequates and the craven first-timer Labour MP's.

In other news, Coventry South MP Zarah Sultana has quit the Labour Party (she was suspended by the Labour Party last year and was seated as an Independent while retaining her party membership), and will be setting up a new political party with Jeremy Corbyn, another Independent and the former leader of Labour. If they get Abbott and several others like Clive Lewis, Ayoub Khan and John McDonnell to splinter from Labour, they could be even bigger than Reform.

  • Like many Labour politicians, she hates the UK.   Therefore she doesn't wish to see any organizations seeking to damage UK interests labelled a terrorist organization.   It's reall

The Terrorism Act 2000 is there for a reason. But hey, got it, you are now arguing against the Terrorism act 2000 and have joined Diane Abbot in her isolated rambles.

Of course it's there for multiple reasons, including as a deterent against dissent.

In this case, who in particular was terrorised by the acts carried out by this group?

Which act and case are you talking about, there have been dozens this soon to be terrorist group have taken part in.

In addition to the seven individuals who appeared in court, two other men remain in custody under suspicion of terrorism-related offences. A 45-year-old man from Warwickshire and a 33-year-old man from Manchester are both being held under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000

Highly unlikely they would be bigger than Reform.

Would be great to see the left wing loony vote split though.

Pick any of them. Who did they set out to terrorise?

Let's hope they all get up on the stages and verbally encourage the activists to demonstrate, then the police can arrest them on terrorist charges

Stop trolling, the topics are all there including the latest act of terrorism against the RAF and two of its planes. Their actions and damage fall under the UK Terrorism Act quite rightly so. You have already stated you don't agree with it. Shame on you for dismissing the seriousness of these terrorist acts but I will not fall for your baiting and apologist rhetoric when all the information is there.

Brize Norton, a military airport, suffered 7 million in damages from 4 activists that was carried out by terrorists. I hope they each get a year for every million pounds worth of damage they caused

We already have laws in place to prosecute them for their actions. Why do we need to label them terrorists?

They attacked a UK military establishment, that is terrorism.

They should also have to pay for the damage to send a clear message to others.

Sell everything they have to pay towards it.........🤗

Diann Abbott is a terrorist supporting clown, we all know it, along with Corbyn.......😬

Just don't add a gate to the stage entrance.

What punishment would you suggest for the Chief of Security at RAF Brize Norton?

I think it's mandatory Tower of London and stretched on the rack............😯

Palestinian action are clowns who should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. To classify them as terrorists is, however, a gross and obscene distortion of what true terrorism actually is.

Also, these clowns have made themselves the headlines. They claim to be acting in support of the Palestinian cause but all they do is further enable those who want to see the eradication of it by distracting  attention and furthering the suggestion that the cause itself is not a just one.

She said on TV that on balance Chairman Mao did more good than harm. He was responsible for about 60 million deaths!

I was talking about seated MP' s where, if Sultana does successfully court the ones already mentioned, it could be five for five with Reform (the sixth is still suspended) in the current parliament.

If we are looking down the road at the next election, the more right-wing Labour MP's have for the most part, rock solid majorities in their constituencies, whereas Reform have thinner margins to protect. The way Labour is being led at the moment, it's possible that the likes of groups like Momentum will be invoked again, a hardening against the left-of-centre leadership that's struggling right now.

A Labour split will be the stuff of debate, same as any ideas of a schism in the Conservatives. Maybe it's not going to be a 3-horse race any more?

If they support Hamas they are pro-terrorist and should be banned. Better still deport them out of the UK

A bit of a false equivalence.

£7million in criminal damage from a bunch of villains that walked in past supposed high security and in doing so utterly destroyed any idea of the RAF having security at all.

Terrorism?

I look forward to the arguments presented in court.

And with the current, global anti-Chinese sentiment, this is a bad thing?

7 hours ago, Bkk Brian said:

Over 7 million in damages carried out at Brize Norton for a political cause makes them terrorists, that's without all the other acts of violence they carried out. Their whole mission clearly stated is violence for their cause.  Significant damage can be considered a terrorist act. They are certainly doing that.

Precidence was set after a group damaged Hawk trainers at Warton and got away scot free. Same when plane stupid broke into Heathrow. A bit late to say damaging aircraft at Brize Norton is a terrorist act.

Yes, the moron even says Mao helped to defeat the Japanese, when in reality it was the Nationalists who did.

Not really. These idiotic acts only encourage more, and those could be a lot worse. They need to stop.
