the problem being a further announcement was made delaying this order by 60 days.

So you're posting misinformation, and cannabis sales proceeding as before.

Apparently not on Phuket ... also can't find any official statement, after 4 July, stating it was paused.  All statements I see about delaying it, were made before it was in the Gazette.

If I was a weed shop, I'd be complying.  Not that I care, as have too much already that I'll never smoke.  If in the area, you can have it.

I will remind everyone one more time. None of these new so called laws have been voted on. At any moment this current government is going to change and all these anti power hungry loons will likely be

  • It would still appear that you were robbed.

  • Feel free to overpay, as what I bought for 5-8 baht / gr, they sell for 100-200 gr, finally.   1/2 gram does me nice for a few hours.   Paying more isn't going do anything but cost me more.

if you have not noticed nobody right now is in charge of the Thai government. But this Mr. T bunch has decided they can just make up rules as they go along without a vote. They won,t be around next week than the lawsuits start flying because there NEVER was a vote on the weed issue. Trying hard to pull a Trump.

So you finally admit you were wrong all along?

In the other thread you keep telling everyone it's in the gazette already and the law already started lol

No, not at all.   Don't know how you read my post above as admitting I was mistaken, and quite the opposite.   A little reading comprehension ... again.   What is with y'all.

Still haven't seen a news-blip or announcement after 4 July, when according to the Royal Gazette, it became the new rules & effective immediately.   Along with being acted on, and enforced on Phuket.

Sort of verifies it was not being delayed.  Happy to agree with y'all if you could point something out dated 4 July or later.

Don't know why you bothered to begin with.  Actually I do, but give you the benefit of the doubt.

For the record, I've admitted a few times on here, that I was mistaken.  Yes, BYE BYE indeed.

If you do find something that backs up 'your' statement, then feel free to inform us.

Judging from that statement and the picture you posted previously, I dont think you have much to worry about.

I reckon you'll be under the 0.2% THC legal limit on your 'weed'  🙂

as stated, 1/2 gr does me fine for a few hours.  Works for me, so plenty of THC:

GC -average strength 17% (13-21%)  ?

TS / RS - average 21%  (18-24%) ?

Less than 5 baht for a nice buzz.  Do I need to pay more, 20X+ more ?

Try the stuff that is 11-15B a gram. Then you might only need a quarter of a gram. Thanks for speaking up about the site. Great place for sure.

Bye Bye! Not law and NEVER was ! They tried something very much the same in Alaska in 1991. Courts ruled weed was legal in your own home Brown vs. State of Alaska 1974? not sure year. Suddenly a bunch of bible nuts decided to put it on the ballot voted on and passed. Turns out as I was right NOT being a lawyer you can,t vote out the court ruling. Cops were happy to arrest people had to let them all go because the new law was wrong. Helped friends in more than a few cases was tossed out of court. So until there is another court ruling everything as before is 100% legal. Time to light up!

While the govt is in chaos the RTP in some areas are using as yet unratified laws as a means to conduct raids and gather some tea money.

Wrong.  Not a scam, and perfectly legal and very common.  Enlighten yourself to how things actually work, instead of spewing BS about Ministerial Order aka Ministerial Regulation in TH.

... 'Issued by a specific ministry or department, under the authority of an existing law (Act).' ...

... 'Ministerial orders are secondary legislation. They cannot contradict the law from which they derive their power or other higher-ranking laws. Their authority is limited to the specific subject matter and scope defined in the enabling law.' ...

Only takes a minute with Ms Google to not sound silly on forums.

NO, haven't bothered, as don't indulge much.  Yes, not as pretty or packaged as nice, but, not silly priced either, and exactly the same potency as the higher priced from 'authorized' vendors online.

I bought the same strains from both for comparison, and no difference at all, except the price being 20X more, if not more.  Actually look quite the same, since not the very high end, colorful strains, all trimmed and packaged for 500 a gr & Up.

As stated, no need to smoke more than 1/2 gr at one sitting.  All the other strains advertise about the same strength, 20%.   5-10 baht vs 200-500+.   Even stoned, the money looks a lot better in my wallet.

the company britman recommends sells it for 5-15 baht a gram . it might be worth a go purely for a better flavour with the same buzz . thanks for replying

You are correct unratified laws oddly in only certain places otherwise everything seems the same.

The regulation officially takes effect on November 11, 2025.  Is that the day we all become criminals over night?

Anyone ?

Are they enforcing order like on Phuket ?

As no talk or news of it being delayed after the order appeared in the Royal Gazette.

Do expats even shop at the dispensaries ?

In Chiang Mai, business as usual in my regular places except the edibles are no longer visible/displayed.

Everywhere I have checked same before . All smoke and mirrors and games nothing more. Anyone notice how quiet things are in Bangkok lately ? Something is up and my hunch is they will all be politely asked to leave Thai style. Every time a certain somebody gets his dirty hands the government comes to a halt. Just make a lot of noise , make up your phony forms and scare everyone. In the last week alone in my small town four big ordinary stores have left not weed shops. Now the plan is to close thousands more?

I have never brought weed in a shop, why spend 200-500/ grm when u can get it online for 1/10 the price?

But can say as far as kamala and Patong  goes, shops are open and can't see them being open if they can't sell anything? 😉

Well 2 large online sellers are still knocking it out on line, no problems at all  1 order received today 1 ordered yesterday expected monday

I'm well stocked up now , and will probably do a bit of growing too.   No worries here, and no intention at the moment  of applying for a medical card etc

I only smoke discreetly at home and always have done, never a problem in 30 years,   and no complaints either except by the mrs when I don't empty the ashtray

Maybe they're just complying with the rules.

As a news clip did state one was complying when they made the rounds and cited a bunch.

Do you know if the shops open are asking for a prescription to be able to buy?

No i havent been in, BUT am buying online , no problem and they told me when it goes into effect that i need a med card and script , they will need to see

It was stated that it would be 30-60 days till it went into effect which was to give the shops time to get their Sh#t together.
