Consider the recent cases of Dan Bongino and Kash Patel — two of the most celebrated MAGA- era firebrands. Their reputations were built on a promise to tear down the FBI’s institutional rot. Bongino, a former Secret Service agent turned podcaster, once called the FBI “irredeemably corrupt” and demanded mass firings over the Mar-a-Lago raid. Nonsense like this just makes this into a silly Trump-hate circle jerk.

You actually make Trump look better and trivialise the Epstein thing.

You are wrong , I'm not a lefty that hates Trump. (exept his foreign policies and now the coverups)

And I'm not making Trump look better, he himself is loosing credibility.

trivialise the Epstein thing ???

Are we using the same language ?

You would have thought that the left would be running with this.  Trump said he would release the files, now he won't.  A fine opportunity to throw some shade on Trump.

Interesting course of action for sure.

one thing for sure, when it comes to illegal sex acts, no political party of the US is innocent IMHO -

LOL.  I know, right?  It's like Biden is president again, the amount of lying going on.  It's like, "Hello?  Dementia much?"  Trump needs to really up his lie game if he wants to be on par with the loony left!

I know you'll accuse me of being a conspiracy theorist again, but I believe that the Deep State controls anyone who's in power, they are not partisan, so they controlled Biden just like their controlling Trump. And the last thing in the world they wanted was for that list to be released and that's likely the reason why they had Epstein killed.

I wouldnt call you a conspiracy theorist for that at all, i'd guess thats how many feel about this whole Epstein thing.

however some here think the 'deep State' is a conspiracy in its self, whether thats because Trump said it and they have to oppose everything he says,  maybe they are just very gullible or naïve, and only believe what the mainstream media tells them.

This is because politician wannabees from any party want money for their campaign chests and the law was changed so that the Superpacs could fund both parties at the same time with no limits so now while they may call themselves as one party or the other party they provide support to the UNI-party of the rich and powerful.   Just look at oligarchy - rule by the rich - check out the monies of the new cabinet of the US, then they pass a BBB to give even more money to the richest while the poor suffer the most!

In February, Pam Bondi (AG) said the list was on her desk. Now it suddenly doesn’t exist. You do the math….

Ridiculous deflection!

This list story was touted by MAGA politicians and media in order to smear the Dems. They probably knew there was no such list, as most of the investigation occured under Trump. Now MAGA leaders are stuck with this lie and don't know how to handle it! 🤣

PS. Epstein's "suicide" still looks fishy.

Epstein Case Becomes a Boomerang for Trump-Era Conspiracy Theorists

In the chaotic world of conspiracy theories, the truth is often the least welcome guest. That lesson is now being learned by several prominent Trump-era appointees, who are finding that the same far-right ecosystem that once championed them now refuses to believe their conclusions. At the center of the storm is the long-simmering controversy over Jeffrey Epstein’s death — and the refusal by many on the political right to accept the official story.

Though the Department of Justice years ago concluded that Epstein died by suicide while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, the narrative has never satisfied a segment of the public who remain convinced of a deeper, darker coverup. What’s striking now is that even Trump-aligned officials — once believers in the theory of foul play — are facing the wrath of the conspiracy-minded for daring to say there is no evidence of murder.

Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, both former Trump loyalists now in senior positions within the FBI, were once among those who doubted Epstein’s official cause of death. But after overseeing a comprehensive review of the case under the auspices of the Department of Justice, they have come to a different conclusion. In a memo released Monday, the DOJ and FBI stated clearly, “There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

Still, for those in the fever swamps of social media, this outcome is impossible to accept. The likes of Laura Loomer and Alex Jones have already declared the review a sham, suggesting that Patel, Bongino, and even Attorney General Pam Bondi are now part of the very establishment they once vowed to dismantle. “Ms. Bondi needs to resign,” Loomer demanded, casting doubt on the motives and credibility of someone once seen as a loyal Trump ally.

What’s unfolding is a painful irony for those who tried to harness conspiracy theories for political gain. Once you assume power and are confronted with hard facts, the same base you once energized may turn against you if your conclusions don’t match their beliefs. That’s the boomerang effect: riding a wave of suspicion and paranoia might lift you to prominence, but it can just as easily knock you down when reality intrudes.

“There’s always another coverup to unravel, or another hidden file somewhere that the evil establishment is hiding,” the original report observed. Now that those in power — including those once skeptical themselves — are affirming the official findings, they are facing accusations of betrayal from the same movement that helped elevate them.

For Patel and Bongino, this may mark their formal initiation into what their former allies derisively call the "rotten establishment." Once hailed as truth-tellers, they are now painted as sellouts by the very crowd that once cheered their rise. In an age where facts struggle to compete with narratives, even the loudest conspiracy theorists can find themselves on the receiving end of the suspicion they once stoked.

More anti-Trump rhetoric from the MSM - specifically from the biggest woke liberal rag there is - WSJ.

They just love stoking the fires of their delusional woke fanbase - obtaining click bait ticks in response.

Meanwhile the majority have woken up to their lies and distortions, and more wake up every day.

She didnt 'admit' anything, she gave a  press briefing and openly stated she had 'the files' on her desk.

I dont believe the words ' client list' was used, only 'files'

She stayed the client file report was on HER  desk waiting for HER to review it. That is an admission that she had it in her possession. Nice try at gaslighting

Remember that the Dems were in power for 4 years, they had the same files, so why didnt they release the dirt on Trump when they had the chance? Derr

I have no idea who had it prior or when it was compiled. That wasn't the question that she lied about. You're trying to deflect from her lie.

She admitted she had it for review originally and now it doesn't exist. As the Top person in her agency she would have that knowledge at her finger tips.

The interviewer said "client list", but she goes on to say something like, "I've got it on my desk, I'm reviewing that, I'm reviewing the JFK files, I'm reviewing MLK files.".  The way she says "files" suggests that she was thinking of the Epstein files, rather than the client list.

Nope but nice try. She was ask a very specific question about the client list and if she had it and she answered she had it for review.  Going on about other files she will also be looking at has nothing to do with what she answered. Nice try at twisting the information

Are you perhaps confusing the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times?

The WSJ is not even slightly left-leaning - all "media bias" sources and sites place it as right of centre.

PS. Epstein's "suicide" still looks fishy.

I love the interview with Michael Franzese, where he says that he was in the same prison and very close to the same cell, and states that the bunks are two feet off the floor that there's absolutely nothing within the cell to use to hang oneself, the sheets are tissue thin, the video system is very high-end and it never gets turned off, and the possibility of him having committed suicide was less than zero.

I completely agree. I would put the possibility of suicide at 0%. There were a lot of very important, and influential people who wanted him dead. Including Trump.

I wasn't twisting anything, but nice try. I was simply explaining that the way she was speaking showed that she might have been thinking file, even though he said list. Nice try at twisting my words though.

It's surprising that Epstein didn't have some sort of "if I die under suspicious circumstances, send this letter to every major news outlet in the world" type of deal.

It's funny to joke about, but Epstein apparently had legitimate dealings with many rich and famous people. So this kind of association really doesn't mean much.

If he said "I've know Jeff for fifteen years, and all the criminal things that he does, no matter how bad or how secret, I do the exact same things with him" you would have more of a point.

No she was asked a direct question and gave a dire t answer. You're speculating that it meant something different  based on other comments that were not asked.
