The last relevant thread got shuttered as it was before the advent of the evisa and was  mainly about the now extinct multi-entry Non-O

So, what's the latest on processing times (actual experience versus the 2-days they have quoted).

They used to have an appointment system before evisa so I presume that's totally irrelevant now that evisa applications are done online after you are in Vietnam.

Finally, what are they accepting for proof of financials? Online statements? Bank letters? Updated bank book? I am assuming they are allowing only one (1) of those to be uploaded for support of the application, same as Vientiane and Savanaket, so it would be good to know if they have a preference or what will NOT be accepted.

Thanks in advance,

NL

Yes totally irrelevant. You apply for eVisa everywhere now.

In Vietnam payment can be made online unlike Laos.

Process time should be less than 5 days.

Personally have not seen recent report.

Why not have all three.

I suggested in your other thread that 3 month bank statement would be best.

What's the issue with obtaining one.

It's done on the spot at your bank.

They can request extra docs.

If they also want updated bank book then have that with you also.

Having all three is easy, but I believe that the evisa only allows one document to be uploaded when applying? If they reject what you originally send, and request something else, I believe your application acceptance date resets to when they get the new document(s). Easier to know what has  worked for others from the get go.

I may have business in SGN next week and I could budget five nights but I would be a bit miffed about having to spend a week(end) or more.

For me, I would obtain the bank statement from the bank (not download.

Maybe the later would work but in similar applications all state "bank statement"

As for hitting the ground running.. I think you can fill in and upload most things prior to travel and file application as soon as you are in Saigon.

If that was a Monday you would think you would have in that week.
