Speaker Mike Johnson is calling for the Department of Justice to release all of its information on Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier who died in jail after being charged with sex trafficking, and wants Attorney General Pam Bondi to explain previous statements on the matter.

The Trump administration this month declined to release additional information regarding Epstein’s death, with the Justice Department and FBI concluding there’s no evidence that Epstein had a list of clients or was murdered in his jail cell. Republicans blocked a House vote on Tuesday afternoon that Democrats tried to cast as a referendum to force the White House to release the files.

It's good to see that Johnson has reversed himself on this issue. All true MAGA supporters should feel the same way. Especially now that we know that the  so called unedited videotapes were tampered with. Please President Trump. Do the right thing.

I don't know if they could get away with that. Too many folks have seen the actual info, and if it's "officially" released then they could "officially" cry bullsh*t.

Mike Johnson and the GOP just pulled a Schrödinger.

Johnson, per se, didn’t vote against releasing the Epstein files —
he just let his party do it for him.

The GOP majority voted to block the release —
then Johnson stepped in front of cameras and said they should be made public.

In the GOP universe, the Epstein files must stay sealed and be exposed —
depending on whether it’s C-SPAN or Fox News watching.

This isn’t transparency. It’s theater.

As usual, this goon is being completely disengenuous. He is attempting to create a distraction, without doing anything constructive. I doubt the list will be released and if it is, it will be highly redacted with Trump's name and many others, removed from it. 

 

This problem is not going away, and is a serious threat to MAGA and Trumps political survival. And it is about time something stuck to Mr. Filth.

Bondi has already unsealed the identity of witnesses. I hope they survive.

The case referred to in my post was voluntarily withdrawn and no longer exists on official databases following death threats to the witness.

That may be, but once the DOJ hands the identity of the witnesses to Trump, they could well be eliminated to tidy up the crimes.
