So old shocker walks around looking at girls bodies at Siem Reap. Not unexpected. Charming. Now I know why he's your hero.

What am I  supposed to do, turn away in horror?  So when I'm standing in the x bar near Pub Street and some hotties walk in wearing short shorts I need to flee? If they didn't want to show it, they wouldn't show it. It's not like I am running up to them and shoving my hand in their crack, I'm just looking and admittedly, probably drooling. I'm more than happy to help finance the trip, but generally, it's just food, weed, booze and air conditioning in a non-dorm environment

Yes. It's not cool to glare, you pervert.

Too many unhinged people on the streets nowadays.  The UK was a much safer place to live when mental asylums were in vogue...

Looks like we're creating this "unhingedness" by encouraging snowflake rights. Society did extremely well for decades before it was mandated that now looking at a woman wil lbe prosecuted. This woman in the Dominik  Bullock case responded in an unhinged way by calling police and making an issue out of someone looking at her. Even 10 years ago this would not have become an incident, since no women would have thought of calling police for someone staring at her. Now with a public campaign about this in London Underground these cases will sky-rocket of course.

Anyone who's not deeply uncomfortable with a woman having the power to have you arrested for looking at her needs a reality check.

Probably why, even at my advanced age, I get more than you. Women are attracted to happy alpha males like me who ooze lust, mystery and testosterone.

Not cool would be disgusting tongue flapping or crotch grabbing. Im not that crass.

Lots of women carrying guns here in Dixie, makes for politeness.

Protected in general from young men and the unhinged things they do. Only backwards countries havent implemented rights for women

Wait: I'm not a maniac, but I don't mind a glance at a beautiful girl either. But this one passed me at least 10 times in less than half an hour: it was almost impossible not to keep looking at her, especially because there was a wall behind me.

13 hours ago, Fabio1980 said:

After reading the news about the three Indian men who called the police because the girl they'd chosen had small breasts, I thought it was a stupid reason. But today, things went even "worse" for me: a non-Asian girl walked past me at least 10 times (I don't know why she kept walking back and forth), and given the way she was dressed, I couldn't help but stare at her. No sexist jokes, no whistles of approval, just constant stares. After a while, she approached me with the police, saying I kept staring at her like a maniac. Not even the police knew what to say.

Looking at a woman isn't illegal, and you can't be arrested for it. Only if you touch or invade her personal space . The question is why stare?

Every normal man likes to look at women but be discreet. They see you staring without approaching and they'll put you in a category of those she'll avoid.

Women know all men are after one thing at first, some wanting it longer than others. They aren't stupid. You come across as a creep and she would rather go for a bad boy who comes onto her with sexual advances, even though they might be those only looking for sex.

Creeps they think are dangerous, although some shy men stare because they're not skilled in talking to women and are afraid of rejection. Like another  said, if you need to stare, wear sunglasses. The older you get, the more you should be able to look at women without salivating.

There are millions of pretty women out there. The more you appear desperate, the less they'll want to make contact. You ignore them, they'll wonder why, and many will contact you, wondering why, especially if you're attractive yourself.

I've seen many gorgeous women working out in gyms, and no one approaches them. You walk up to them prepared, making contact without the usual, "wow, you're so hot", which they've heard a million times. Most women who are hot know they are, so conversation should be quick and nothing about appearance.

Next time look, then look away after you admire her looks. if she's going back and forth 10 times, and you're the only man around, maybe she was interested, but since all you did was stare every time, she thought you were a creep. You could have asked her if she was lost or looking for something, instead of just gawking.

If big boobs are most of all you noticed, and she knew that, she would see you as one of the many boys who's only desires were her body. I see countless comments, boy like, on Facebook where a pretty woman was posted. Some actually think leaving sexual comments, especially about body parts, might have her message them back. They see them as boys, period. Men see them as boys also, and laugh. Now, watch and see the usual suspects with their entourage come into this topic and give me a thumbs down instead of discussing the topic.

It is illegal in the UK now.

U.K. Government Backs Bill to Criminalize Street Harassment

.

The measure targets behavior like catcalling or persistent staring with prison sentences of up to two years.

It would criminalize “causing intentional harassment, alarm or distress to a person in public where the behavior is done because of that person’s sex,”

He stared at the girl which got her all riled up. So they got into an argument. He sat next to the exit and extended his legs and refused to move for her. He didn't touch her and didn't verbally abuse her. She then called police and pressed charges against him.

It was the staring that precipitated the prosecution. Indeed in the UK it is now clearly established that men can be prosecuted for staring at women:

"Det Supt Sarah White, who leads BTP’s sexual offences team, dismissed the criticism and warned that her force is receiving daily reports of individuals committing sexual offences, including staring, across the country."

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/04/16/staring-tube-could-prosecuted-says-top-detective/

I do have kids, two daugthers in fact and I still find it distasteful that men get prosecuted for looking at a woman.

It feels like it's the same in the US, though many women dress in a way that invites attention they do not like to be stared at, nor do they like to be talked to by strangers, as the fear factor is very high. It is a very bizarre world back there these days, one that I'm thrilled to not be a part of most of the year.

Catcalling, a childish behavior, is a vocal action, which can be harassment. Just like all the people who go around with cameras , quoting the first amendment, looking at anything in public isn't an offense. What you see, you can video, as it's a public domain, and it is their right, although it's also kinda stupid. Making sure the police don't go above their jobs using control and aggression is surely okay, but there's a fine line you can't cross, making sure you don't break laws on the books. If it's a law not to stare, people need to follow it, but that can be abused by women if a man just looks at them a little while. there are many Karens out there who look for any reasons to attack men.

It depends if the guy fulfills their attraction criteria, if they like him they won't mind if he looks at her. If she doesn't find him attractive then it's intrusive and "distressing" staring.

What is remarkable is that in the UK women now have the power to get a man thrown in prison for looking at her.

Whilst one can understand many women don't like to be stared at, by guys they dont' find attractive, to give them the power to have a man incarcerated for it seems incredible.

And Dominik Bullock, the guy who was imprisoned for staring in the UK, was lucky as he only got 22 weeks, since 6 months is the maximum under the old laws. With the new UK legislation to punish "street harrasment" staring can now lead to a 2 year prison sentence in the UK.

In addition violence against women was rebranded as a "hate crime", so if a man has a heated argument with a girlfriend and it gets physical he can now face hate crime charges, which are far more serious in terms of time served than normal assault charges.

I find it staggering that you can post such an asinine and moronic statement......you are obliviously of what women have to face everyday of their lives from pig ignorant, aggressive men.

Many women's lives are blighted because of attitudes like you express.

I am thoroughly disgusted you can defend anything that causes such upset to women.

Of course it can be abused, and will be abused, imagine if you give the power to a woman to have a man incarcerated just for looking at her, this will lead to cases where completely innocent people will be put away for 2 years for looking  at someone supposedly too intently.

There are militant feminists whose idea of fun is very different to ours.

You cannot order anyone to stay out of conversations, fred. That's narcissistic behaviour. We can all comment on what we see.

If you are attracted to someone, it's not unusual to want to look at them. Stop trying to paint yourself as better than everyone else. It's pathetic.

Just like all of the Diddy and Epstein cases in the US. You never know who's telling the truth as some are definite human garbage, and some are just looking for a payout.

You are a total cretin, trying to pretend that Dominik Bullock was put away for obstructing a door, when he went to prison because he was looking at a woman who took offence and called police because of that.

In addition the UK has now passed explicit laws that will enable women to have men put away for 2 years for staring at them. Nothing to do with obstructing doors, as you claimed.

Dominik Bullock of Thatcham, was not jailed solely for staring—the case escalated when his behaviour became confrontational and obstructive. According to police: he sat next to the victim on a Berkshire-bound train from Reading and stared so intently that she repeatedly asked him to stop and to move as he was blocking her exit. He refused both requests, even spreading his legs and telling her she’d have to “climb over him.” When other passengers intervened and she called the police, he still wouldn’t move. Eventually, the train manager had to remove him. Bullock was subsequently identified via CCTV and arrested.

I doubt you have kids, but try to imagine it was your daughter or ex Filipino he was hassling.

Should have kick him in the Bullocks.

Pretty sure it was a man...555

I was just traveling through the airport in Korea and couldn't staring at the women because 99% of them appear to flawless skin. It was like they all came right out of an advertisement for makeup. Luckily no one called the police on me or I would have missed my flight.
