Where to buy rope caulk in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I have something that I need to seal temporarily and then remove in about 6 weeks, so I can't use permanent silicon glue. I was looking for rope caulk, but I can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where this is available in Thailand? Perhaps it has a different name than I'm used to? It's a thin, rubber/putty like substance that comes in a coil and you just peel off as much as you need. I checked Lazada and Shoppee but got nothing.

Thanks for any assistance.

Possibly. I have a pipe coming through a wall. I need to temporarily seal gap from the elements, so it has to be something that can be readily deformed and pushed into the gap with fingers and/or a screwdriver. If that is a tacky putty that doesn't cure in the air, then it should work. But from the picture I'm not sure how deformable that is. It needs to be something with a consistency of a dough that I can rip and tear into smallish pieces.

How easy is it to remove that stuff?

Toilets here come with a  collar of very dark caulk that Thais rarely use . Absolutely great for plugging gaps and easy to remove.See if you can find some.  I ve been using 8 years ,left over from when house built..never dries out.

Plugged a small hole in 2500 litre water tank and hasn't leaked a drop.
