Thousands of buildings have been demolished in what many are saying is a war crime.

Good - I hope they continue to ignore the woke liberal BS spewed out by the MSM and UN/EU etc etc and continue their course of action.  Drive them back to the stone ages where they belong - never to raise their terrorist murdering inhuman heads again, and be unable to commit such heinous acts of inhuman torture and murder ever again.  Human beings do not rape and burn alive babies and little girls, and Hamas and their supporters deserve absolutely no sympathy. As a Centrist Democrat and a moderate Jew from New York, I have long been critical of Israeli policy, and have felt that it's way too extreme, it's not even bordering on proportionate, and it's influenced largely by the super Orthodox extremist Jews in Israel, who are totally insane and bloodthirsty.

 

It feels like Israel is simply trying to eradicate Gaza and the Palestinians from the face of the earth, and they won't stop until that task is done. They have caused hundreds of billions of dollars worth of damage, and our responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of women and children. It is likely that those areas will never be habitable again, and perhaps that's part of the plan.

 

It amounts to nothing short of genocide, and Israel should be held responsible for it, it's an abomination that many nations including the US still support them.

The trouble with that is the majority of Palestinas do not accept the existence of Israel within any border. So Palestine what borders? It's not simple. You might say west bank and Gaza, but yes Israel has messed up hopes for peace with all the settlements. I have no answer. Liberals saying two state solution seem to be just playing a game as that's not realistic now.

I find your comment meaningless without talking about borders. Before 1948 it was all the British Mandate of Palestine. Jews were Palestinians then.
