Popular Post Lewie London Posted 4 hours ago Popular Post Posted 4 hours ago Ah, the mighty 7-Eleven ham and cheese toastie. You beautiful golden crispy square of joy. You saviour of drunken nights and lazy mornings. You transfat laden masterpiece forged by the hands of minimum-wage heroes behind a plastic counter. Forget Michelin stars and five-star nonsense. Nah. This is the real deal lads. Plastic wrapper comes off, slide it into the sandwich iron, hear that magic phrase: “Warm?”, like music to your ears. Too right it’s warm, love, melt it like the sun’s gone on holiday. Into the heat it goes, and 90 seconds later, you’ve got yourself a piping hot slab of crispy bread, gooey fake cheese, mystery-meat ham, and enough salt to resurrect a dead man. No judgment, no questions, no waiter hovering by askin’ if you want still or sparkling. Just you, your toastie, and the silent nod of respect from every other hungover, half-sober, half slobbering, or just plain hungry soul in that shop. You can keep your caviar, truffle oil and the foie gras. Give Lewie that greasy little packet of happiness at 3AM when the streets are devoid of everyone but ladyboys, and the belly’s rumbling. Long live the ham and cheese toastie. The true five-star-feed of Thailand. Never lets you down, always there when you need it most. If only the birds were as tasty. 1 5 1 4 4

Popular Post HappyExpat57 Posted 4 hours ago Popular Post Posted 4 hours ago Whenever I decide to take a break from eating healthy, one of my go-to's is the Mickie-D double fish filet. Thailand is one of the few countries that serve it. Arguably one of the worst things you can introduce into your system and I LOVE 'em! 1 2

I suppose everyone of us once eat this delicious food offered in the 5 star cuisine of 7/11. But no one describes this event better than you. Thank you❤️ 1
Popular Post spidermike007 Posted 3 hours ago Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago 7/11 is one of the reasons the women of Thailand are blowing up, and putting on so much weight. Nothing bordering on healthy in the way of prepared food there, and likely all CP junk products. No thanks. 1 2 2 3 1
EVENKEEL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I had the spicy fish and rice for a light dinner the other night. 7-11 is fantabulous.

So are the California rolls. That's about all, though. Enough carbs to dry-dock an aircraft carrier. 1 3

I assume the cheese is not good cheddar. Need to be drunk to truly appreciate like a donnor kebab from a van on Friday or Saturday night 1

KhunLA Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Like any venue, choose wisely and healthy, if that's your choice when dining. 7-11 is a Buddha send for us, when O&A. Some of the best options for munching, and makes fast food healthy & convenience to a new level. What's not to love. Guessing most that think it's crap food and or unhealthy, haven't sampled much except beer and the unhealthy offerings. Oh well. By the looks of some of you waddling around, 7-11 would obviously be a healthy alternative. 2 1
KhaoHom Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not surprised an Englishman waxing poetic about that disgusting bit of junk food. Yet another foodstuff farang can add to their list of crap that they can eat to retain sustainance while in Asia. All farang tourists are allergic to vegetables and merely looking at anything spicy sets their poor little tummies on fire. UK must be the absolute worst judges of good food on the planet. The sandwich is positively revolting. It's generally fake fake cheese, some form of low end animal product slathered in fake butter made from palm oil between two pieces of white bread. How about tackling your favorite Pattaya all you can eat Sunday roast? Just what every overweight middle aged man needs to eat in the 36C heat weekly 🙋 1 4

Nothing close to ceasar. The lettuce is iceberg which has no nutritional value whatsoever. I wasn't expecting much but the dressing was pretty disgusting. Granted anything is highly nutritional compared to that sandwich 2

Nothing. You don't even live here. 1 4

I ate at a Mc'D's for the first time in 30 yrs here in town and it was NOT like I remember them in the States. This was actually good AND ours has better spicy fried chicken than Popeyes ! 1

Just what every overweight middle aged man needs to eat in the 36C heat weekly 🙋 You should check greatbritishchefs.com, Britain has much high-end quality (& Michelin star) food, but due to the Ultra-processed purveyors of rubbish cheap food, we do have some abominable food. When thinking of cheese I think of Quicke's & Montgomery (a few examples) as quality cheese. However, not much reason to have much European foods often when in Thailand given the quality of even the lowest/cheapest of food offering here. Thailand has amazingly good food. 1 2

phetphet Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'll occasionally eat at McD's, but I can't bring myself to eat any of the pre-prepped foods at 7-11. Even the plain steamed rice in the plastic pot, nuked to heat it up just looks wrong.
HappyExpat57 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago There's a 7/11 beef and white rice product that I buy on the 2 or 3 times a year I want some hangover comfort food. I mix it in with a bunch of other comfort foods and eat it as I rememeber why I stopped drinking (notice I didn't say "quit?"). 555
