Pattaya has never really recovered from the destruction of the promenade.....

Who ever gave me a thumbs down on my post 5 posts ago....Either put up or shut up....And please do tell us all why Pattaya is better now....

The ONLY thing thats better than 10 years ago is we now have Lazada and Shopee...

It's just a bigger cess pit of crime, delusion, sex workers, disease and depression, with added Indians.

Good to see a review where someone gets it that there's so much more to Pattaya than the nightlife and how that is just the icing on the cake.

Get a grip mate, it's Stickman - a retired whore monger.Who cares what he thinks about the brothel resort?

I guess his reviews carry as much weight as the other dozens of whoremongers who post on YT weekly! He does speak the local lingo but Hindi is more needed these days!

Pattaya, my number one no-go spot on my list, along with Phuket and Koh Samui. These places have nothing to do with Thailand in the literal sense, have no charm...they're rather repulsive!:coffee1:

Plus everyone seems to hate BKK, other Thai cities are as boring as hell, so where is good here? I really don't know, I've been here 25 years and find the whole country very boring and pretty much all the same.

Why is there nothing laid on for kids here at Thai 'seaside' resorts?? Say what you want about the UK but go to a coastal resort there and there's plenty to keep the kids happy? It's borderline cruelty. Take kids here to Phuket/Samui/Hua Hin and it's like dad what can we do.

Where are the Thai equivalents to places like Butlins or Centre Parks?? Like I say, this country is as boring as hell.

Even Vietnam has the Vinpearl resorts.

I knew the beaches in the UK were different but wow. Myself, my kids and all my friends and their kids have never had a bad or boring day at a Thai beach. Loads of fun things do do that cost little or nothing to enjoy.

There are plenty of kid attractions available a few km outside Pattaya city. Would you suggest there should be kid attraction on beach road opposite the bars?

You never heard about the Sheep farm (there are 2), the waterparks (there are also 2), the Dolphinarium or Pipo pony farm?

If you have even been to Pattaya, doubtful,  you managed not to see much--or go anywhere. Plenty for kids to do in Pattaya.  To start with, stay at a resort built for kids.  Centre Point Space and Centara both have loads of stuff geared towards kids.  Centara, particularly, is huge--you could probably stay at the resort, right on the ocean, your entire visit and not get bored.

But, if you venture out, there are go-cart tracks, including a new one.  There are at least three nice water parks.  Nong Nooch Gardens with lots of dinosaurs and an entertainment show.  Columbia Pictures Aquaverse theme park.  Movies at both T21 and Central Festival and T21 has Harborland, totally geared for kids.  Also fun, Art in Paradise, with all sorts of interactive art, most with kids in mind but adults will like it, too.  Teddy Bear Museum.  Ripley's Believe it or Not.  Haunted Adventure.  Elephant parks. Tiger Park.  Underwater World.  Dolphinarium.  Frost Land.  Bee Farm.  Sanctuary of Truth.  Boat rides to the islands with snorkeling.   Lots for kids.

I think this says more about your lack of imagination.

I have never seen bored kids in Thailand (except Thai kids of course - but even they get excited at the seaside).
