I agree with you on the part of male / female. OK, there's a 3rd one which can be both at the same time, but that's rare and well documented. Not the 234392 other "non-binary" sexes.

But what I was referring to is that - 0 or 1. Either you are full in on one side, or full against that side.

 

In reality, between white and black, there are many shades of grey. Of people who agree on some but not all things, and people who might mostly disagree but still agree on some things. It would be rare to find people who completely disagree on everything.

 

So please widen your horizon a little. The World is not all black or white, politics are not all left or right, and neither are the people. There are many more options in between where interests, beliefs and opinions are overlapping, and that's what makes the World a better place.

There is no EU President. She's the President of the European Commission.

 

It means, among other things, that she has a mandate to negotiate trade deals (provided they are eventually ratified by member States), but no mandate to make commitments about what companies and member States may invest in or purchase.

We need to define TACO. 

 

Some of you guys seem to think varying rates is TACO. Others think extending deadlines is TACO. 

 

To me - TACO is folding and returning to "pre-liberation day" trade conditions. 

 

Also - I don't know if this tariff policy will work. We'll know in a year. 

 

I do know that something had to be done about excessive protectionism across many countries.

Canada has led the way with an utterly brilliant shift away from America, having found very dependable trade partners to purchase the highest quality lumber in the world, it's oil and gas, it's steel, it's precious rare earth materials and many other commodities. China is also doing a very admirable job of finding other nations to buy its products and Americans will suffer and Americans will pay a dear price for that in the way of inflation and huge price hikes thanks to the circus clown. The world should take notice and the entire planet should shun America and it's horrific reptilian leader.
