It doesn't really work.

 

First, the jobs number is for "Non-Farm Payroll", which means the folks who were helping to keep produce prices down and harvest before crops rotted are not part of the calculation.

 

Second, if "undocumented" are part of the employed numbers, it means they are paying Social Security and having their income reported to the IRS, which also means they are likely paying taxes and helping fund the ever-ballooning deficit. If they are not paying SS and getting W2s, then they are not officially employed, and thus would not be included in any BLS Number.

 

Oh, and again for the record....Erika McEnterfer was appointed BLS Chief in January 2025, by guess who?

 

Finally, how many people have been deported? Hint: it isn't 258,000.
