Hi, I'm about to go for my first 1 year marriage visa extension at CW.  I've been reading that certain STM type docs are required (in addition to the already researched and acquired plethora of unnecessary paperwork).  Do they supply these additional documents?  Or would it be best to print these out and bring them in already completed?  Any insight appreciated.  Many thanks.

I think they just give these to you to sign when you are there......I don't think there's anything to fill in.....certainly not for the STM.2

There are 4 STM forms required now (STM 2, 9, 10 & 11), they're available to download from immigration website and all need to be filled in and signed.

Should have also mentioned STM 10 (Affidavit of Family Relationship to Thai National) is filled in by your thai wife, this is in addition to her written statement.

I would bet dollars to durian you signed most of them without having the slightest idea what they were 😮

They are just handed to you when you're sitting there and you print your name on the top and sign them 😉

They have been having people sign the notice of overstay, the "terms and conditions" for your extension and the "statement" for quite a few years now both for retirement, marriage and raising kids extensions

Yes...totally agree......I find the whole situation incredibly stressful....piece of paper missing, new requirements, no queuing system where we are, three hour round trip......I could sign my own death warrant and not know....

Thanks but its totally useless to attach such files here   as the resolution is far too low  to be readable let alone printable.

I posted links to printable forms earlier

Thanks very much..could you perhaps  have a word with  'someone'

about getting the resolution of attached images to the forum  back to a sensible level...I have mentioned it in the forum support section but nothing has happened.

The link to thread I posted earlier has OP providing links to each form.

Thinking when printed out clarity won't be an issue.

In any event suggest folk just accept these forms at immigration and sign + fill in name first field.

At CW the doc check girls hand them to you.

Don't really see the need

If when you say "Don't really see the need" you mean for the forms, I couldn't agree more. If on the otherhand you mean don't see the need to prepare beforehand the reason is it shaves 20 minutes or more off the time spent being in the pleasant enviroment of the immigration office and its charming staff, same reason most people fill out the TM.7 beforehand.

Not suggesting people go unprepared.

For example it obviously makes sense to fill in forms such as TM7 in advance.

In fact at CW the ticket issue desk requires you to show filled out form such as TM7, TM8 etc etc depending on why you're there.

The forms this thread is concerned with are the ones concerning acknowledgement of penalties etc

I just sign my name and print name at top of form as required.

Mountain out of a mole hill comes to mind.

I have even done them while io does her bit of tick tick.

Takes couple of minutes.

I understand that the STM 10 and 11 were added recently. So they are new for those who have  been doing extensions before.
You need to be aware that the STM 10 form requires a witness. At the bottom right.
In hua hin, i had to get a thai witness who knows me and my wife. Fortunately, somebody we knew was available and could come to immigration fairly quickly.
I have seen some other posts concerning this, indicating that other people in immigration could be used as a witness. However, if so they may need to be Thai, have a thai ID and house book with them.
It all depends what CW require and you need to check with them.

If other people reading this have done the marriage extension recently in CW with an STM10,
then can you please advise what happened for your STM 10 witness.

Have you actually completed the STM.11 and your wife completed STM.10? It is most certainly not a couple of minutes.

No I haven't.

Suggest go to immigration office with whatever time is required to fill in the forms provided by immigration.

The OP is dealing with CW which has option of appointments.

Is it that important to do few forms prior to attending immigration.

In any event I posted links to forms earlier.

Download and print if it's such an issue

Just to confirm, the financial statement must be up to date, and the bank certification needs to be issued on the same day you submit your application. If your bank has a branch at Chaengwattana, you can get it done there on the day of your submission, which makes things much easier. Let us know if you need help checking your bank’s location or preparing the paperwork!
