I have Bangkok Bank but have been considering changing to Krungthai based on better ATM daily withdrawal amount. Are there other aspects better about Krungthai banking? (Thanks in advance)

You u do not need 'agent help',i believe either bank wil do..But as i mentioned

I certainly would challenge the OP on this unless in the past couple of weeks they did a complete 180.

Recently, mine took more then one month and was much more complicated then he is describing.  Even before all these bank issues in prior years it took 2 or 3 days+, not one day.

To add, the OP claims in another thread he got his bank account in Nan. Now he is saying Chiang mai.  Also, on this the agency told me "No more bkk bank" will be accepted.

Anyway, I hope his report is all true maybe someone else will report in the future to clarify.

ATM card is a relatively new thing, what do they do with it?

Maneerat doesn't do new visas based on retirement though, 3+12 months, included opening a new bank account. At least for the moment. Only a few agents in Pattaya still do them, because of the banking issues (they drive to Bangkok).

Maneerat can do the 12 months extension though, if you come in on a Non-O 90 days visa based on retirement.

Do you know which agents are doing them?

That is a good price.i might have mux up.i was on change of visa exempt to -non o 3 months-1 year

Extention.that is way more expensive.

so, an LTR if can meet requirements is 50,000 baht for 10 years, no added costs, in and out of country at will without cost, no 90-day reports on line or in person.  Much cheaper IMO plus no worry at all about taxing of foreign earned income for 10 years.

17500 renewal and multi re entry permit with assistance same as Maneerat was before all the Bangkok Bank issues.soi bukhao, can’t remember the visa agent, first time I have used them, just before the market Krunsgri Bank Account only though.

Lady owner undergoing treatment for cancer unfortunately.

At least One Stop visa at soi 6 still does.

I asked Maneerat a few weeks ago for a friend, they had put a hold on it for new accounts. But seems they are up and running with Krungsri Bank now.

Came here in 1991 the wife and me did a lot of running around to get all the correct paper work for the first year, the  first  2 years ext of stay my borther in law had aman do it for us, I looked real closely and said I can do that. The next 10 years I did the ex of stay using married to a Thai. On the 15th year the IO lady said I can finsh it in today if you use retirement , I said yes, done in 1/2 Hr.  The last 19 yrs I have done it myself, the last 2 yrs in 30 min's. I think my age and phy condition had a lot to do with it then.

How much do you need to withdraw in one day, Bangkok Bank allows me to do 4x25,000 per day, just have to ask them.

So you are telling everyone. that you went to immigration and walked right in to the immigration officer and within 15 minutes you were gone. No lines, no waiting, Somehow, I feel you have exaggerated quite a lot. So much to the point that you made it unbelievable.

Go to soi 6, and One Stop Visa, they 100% sure are doing them, the financials and everything. The price has gone considerably up, but that may be temporary, until the dust settles down.
