If they are disgusted by this then why isn't Norway trying to negotiate a crease fire or an end to the war the way they would like it to end?

Everyone is upset with the results of the meeting pointing towards a peace deal instead of cease fire, but nobody is else doing anything.

Russia's economy is artifically inflated at the moment with the war effort at home sustaining industry, but take away the horrific cost and the real GDP is below Spain - or at least on parity.

No reason for Putin to be keen on peace when he has the most powerful leader in the world on his leash. Trump is too soft on Putin proscrastinating time and time again to be tough on Russia sanctions and never delivered and not providing offensive military weapons and air support to Ukraine. Putin war will continue until he taste defeat by the western allies arming Ukraine, more sanctions and freeing their frozen assets of around $300 B for Ukraine to buy arms. Will need US involvement and Trump is the big hinderance. He is Putin's marionette.

Quite true, especially those that created the war and the resulting military industrial complex profits along with the money laundering. EU countries purchased more than $200B of fossil fuels from Russia since the war began but contributed considerably less than that in military aid to Kiev during the same period. Biden and Harris did nothing in pursuit of peace and just poured gas on the fire by supplying endless military armaments to Ukraine. The solution(s) and an end of the war is possible now only due to President Trumps leadership and focus on peace.
