How to cancel CW online appointment?
After I successfully made the online appointment to extend my stay based on marriage, I run into the information about Bangkok Bank requiring to have the money in the bank account for four months. So that is the case September 15. So now I would want to cancel my online appointment because I do not need it (it was set for the end of August). Since Bangkok Bank would not issue the letter required by the immigration about the money being in the bank account for two months, I do not want to keep the money with them any longer than necessary. So is there a way to cancel an existing online appointment? I again tried to do it, for example, by using the QR code in the appointment confirmation, but that did not get me to a cancellation link or something like that. Or should we just not show up and that's it? And then make a new appointment for September, which would be possible as it seems, even if I have an existing appointment already. -

Robbing accident victims living or dead has been standard operating procedure in Thailand for a long time. Many have complained that their relatives bodies were robbed by the body snatchers or whoever got to the scene of the accident first. Remember the wholesale robbing of the dead in the Lauda Air crash that was only publicized because some ladies in waiting to the Royal Family were amongst the victims who were robbed after death. Some of the looters, mainly so called rescue workers, lived to regret robbing the wrong corpses because they ended up in prison. In hotel fires the fire brigade, who are part of the police break open the guests' safety boxes and make off with the contents as a top priority. -

Cataract surgery in Pattaya or surrounding area
I had it done 15 years ago at BKK Pattaya and my wife had it done 2 months ago. The charge for her was 200K maybe there was a special on, but I do not recall there being one. We live in Issan and you can get this done a lot cheaper there-- but with several of my friends who have had it done here, had problems -2 have even gone back to wearing specs again. I am not a fan of BKK Pattaya but for this eye opp they are very good-- the price includes overnight stay where they wake you every hour to clean and put drops in. The surgeon that has been there for years "Sumchai" and studied it in Germany has recently retired (last month) maybe thats why the increase. -
