POTUS. A fact that you and many others on here can't accept.

A better answer.

It seems something has been overlooked by posters here:

The dealmaker Trump can rejoyce. He will send weapons to the Ukraine, but the Europeans will have to pay for them. If that's not a great deal, then I don't know what is.

Problem is, that Europe can not pay for it. Most EU countries are alredy running large budget deficits. Must try to build-up their own (neglected) defenses, costing billions. The cost to finance the European "welfare system" will soon become "unbearable". Cuts are coming.

In short: All Selensky can hope for is another warm handshake from Europe. And plenty of heroic verbal support of course. The usual.

Trump is Putin's poodle.

Trump has stopped all financial and arms aid to Ukraine.

If you need heavy weapons to solve the problem of the puppet president in Washington DC, you are not alone in this world. Vlad supporters recommend that you ask Russia for help. I am sure that Vlad will help you with the supply of any kind of heavy weapons.

Anyway, Z guys love this kind of US patriots. But to truly excite us, you must take up arms in Washington City.

Have you looked at the drone attack maps on Russian oil infrastructure? Are you so simple minded that actually believe that this war is only about border maps? You are not objective at all. You're pushing a pro surrender narrative.

As I said it's around 20% of production that has been affected (maybe more now). I also said this doesn't mean 20% of the total refining capactity is completly gone. How this will impact the battlefield and the Russian economy is as of yet unknown. As for the boders this is exactly what this war is about and the Russian frontline, albeit slowly, keeps advancing.

At the pace Russia has been advancing, you're wrong.

Incredibly slow at incredible cost in Russian lives.

Yes, I understand that Putin doesn't care about the Russian lives Russia is losing as they're mostly ethnic minorities, provincials, criminals from jail, etc.

It's not about the borders.

I get it. The Russian's win is inevitable have been singing the same tired tune for years now.

It's not nearly that simple or inevitable.

I will admit a strong pro Ukraine bias but I get from you and others singing your tune (including Trump) a strong pro Putin bias. Whether you admit it or not, everyone can see it.

Once again I point out the fact that you never seem to grasp that this is an attritional war. Large amouts of dead and wounded soldiers on both sides but Russia has the numbers when it comes to boots on the ground. As for your "cannon fodder" reference maybe you should mention how Ukraine is ripping people off the street to send them to the frontline. I guess MSM doesn't talk about this. It's one of reasons the desertion numbers are huge.

There you go again. You're a flippin' BROKEN RECORD!

It's really annoying. There are many factors. This is boring now. Not interested in talking further until you have something ORIGINAL to say.

Looks like Modi has picked a side. Trump tried trolling him with tariffs - this is Modi’s answer. We’re watching the New World Order take shape: a frightened, flailing West squaring off against the “gangster states” of the Global South. Authoritarian, oligarchic regimes don’t take kindly to being bullied or lectured by fading hegemons especially when those hegemons are led by an aging, narcissistic, orange-faced clown emperor.

The three leaders were later seen laughing together in a huddle in what appeared to be a show of solidarity against Washington and its allies.

Modi shared a photograph of himself with Putin inside the president's armoured Aurus limousine after the summit. It was captioned: 'Always a delight to meet President Putin. Conversations with him are always insightful.'

At their talks, Modi told Putin: 'Even in the most difficult situations, India and Russia have always walked shoulder to shoulder.

Trump is no longer leader of the west.

But yes there is a global divide gelling.

Trump's got it sorted - apparently and isn't dead. Not many people know but the British Empire was at it's largest and richest in 1937 and now it's trademen angry at ULEZ sticking flags on lamposts smoking at the fag end of history.

I understand you perfectly. You would like to be a citizen of a truly great country. In that case, here is a historical example for you. In Russia, there are the cities of Engels and Marx, where ethnic Germans who made their choice live. Today, you can easily obtain Russian citizenship by simply participating in the Vlad`s Hero Factory - the SMO in Ukraine.
In SMO you have a great chance to take revenge on one of your best friends who has taken over all your former colonies (which are now neo-colonies).

I’m sorry, but Putin’s Russia is no answer, nor is Xi’s China. What we are witnessing is the slow, inexorable collapse of the West, driven by the iron laws of history: empires rise, empires decay, and when rot sets in, no amount of moral posturing can turn back the tide. We are drifting toward catastrophe toward world war, toward the climate cataclysm, toward the possible end of human civilization itself.

Putin offers only illusions. The Russians will eat their potatoes and drink themselves into an alcoholic stupor of misery, chanting about their supposed greatness, ready to die by the millions on the bleak steppes if that is what the Motherland demands. Xi’s China may well impose enough authoritarian order to manage the transition, but even that is only survival, not salvation. Europe, meanwhile, sinks into “Egyptification”: a hollowed-out husk, a museum of past glories, paralyzed in stagnation.

And all the while, the cheerleaders for the Ukraine war dance at the dumpster fire of our unraveling, mistaking their own moral vanity for virtue. They clap as the flames rise, deaf to the sound of civilizations cracking apart. In Britain, comedians are arrested at Heathrow for making jokes. In America, the great orange clown burns down the Capitol and calls it glory.

This is not renewal; this is decadence masquerading as righteousness. The world is not heading toward progress it is staggering toward its funeral pyre.

IMHO  have a second Chang you deserve it. I am ready my Lord. There are no great countries just great people and most them pass unremarked at the bottom of the dung pile of humanity.

Nice try though you are pushing your manufactured troll persona a bit too much. ICU.

Well done sir.  Nice to see some can still generate an impressive rant like this without relying on AI.

We're all just old men past our prime wasting our time to virtually no-one. In the old days it would be shouting at the telly - my wife is much wiser than me to focuses on the here and now and things she can control and let's the rest settle as it will.

Hoping that September is even worse for Russia than August was!

On the night of September 5, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, struck the Ryazan oil refinery.

According to preliminary data, a strike was recorded on the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining facility, with an estimated capacity of 6 million tons of oil per year.

In addition, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted fire damage on the positions of two S-400 Triumph air defense missile systems in Russia's Kaluga region.

According to preliminary data, the command and control vehicle and the control point were hit.

Ukraine reveals details of attack on Ryazan oil refinery and other Russian facilities

In August, the US approved the sale of 3,350 ERAM cruise missiles to Ukraine. The first batch is expected to arrive in October, according to Aviationweek.

The ERAM was developed just 14 months after the tender was published in August 2024.

With a budget of $225 million and an accelerated procurement process, the weapons task force spent slightly over a year to issue ERAM requests, sign contracts with two unconventional defense companies, demonstrate the weapon on the American Douglas A-4 test stand and a Ukrainian MiG-series fighter, and obtain prototypes.
