Quit deflecting and try to stick to the topic. To ensure doctors are trained in nutrition, (the topic) just withhold funding to medical schools that don't comply. That's what the left did/does.

I wonder.....raw milk.....will that have to be pushed by these doctors being educated by the ex-junkie as what is good for everyone?

Raw milk is pretty popular in Europe,i have no idea why it is almost a crime to sell raw milk in the US.

It was herd immunity that saved millions of lives. When was the last time you heard of your fellow pandemic frothers getting vaxed and boosted?

Herd immunity? Remember that? Although you will not have read about it here🤣

Clearly you don't understand that herd immunity can be acquired 2 ways: by surviving a disease or by getting vaccinated. Studies show that more that once Covid vaccines were introduced in the USA, the death rate in the USA diverges. Rates were higher where opposition to the vaccination was higher.

Many countries require boiling before consumption. The EU mandates that raw milk must come from disease-free animals and meet hygiene standards before sale....maybe they don't do these things?

I too was shocked to read about the other school of thought suggesting seed oils are not so good for human consumption

but the explosion in their use does kind of correspond to the explosion in  allergies and obesity.

As does the increasing consumption of food, the rising consumption of ultraprocessed food, the increasing use of antibiotics, anti-depressants and steroids, increased engagement with the internet etc. . Correlation is not the same as causation.

That is a good thing.  Can't wait to see all the usual suspect denounce it as "Bad!"

You just don't get it. The problem isn't with educating doctors in proper nutrition. The problem is with Jr.'s notions of what proper nutrition consists of such as french fries fried in beef fat.

You may recall that during the "pandemic"  there where many calls for segregation and apartheid from supposedly intelligent people.

Just like in the Old South and South Africa where black people would be singled out for discrimination sometimes for as long as a few months. Got any more ridiculous comparisons to share with us?

I guess it's mainly a British tradition. I've not seen raw milk as easily available as in UK elsewhere.

What should French fries be fried in?

French fries are harmful to one's health no matter what they're fried in. You need to be educated.

Is that not what RFKJ wants to do is educated people?

Actually, it's pretty tightly controlled and banned in some places:

Country-specific examples
Countries with controlled availability
  • Denmark, Finland, and Sweden: Shops are not permitted to sell raw milk. All three countries allow limited "barn door" sales, but under strict controls.
  • England, Wales, and Northern Ireland: Raw milk can be sold directly to consumers on farms or at farmers' markets but is illegal to sell in shops. All bottles must include a health warning.
  • France: Raw milk and raw milk cheeses are common. However, reports suggest that retail sales of raw fluid milk are rare, with many consumers buying directly from farms.
  • Germany: Packaged raw milk, known as "Vorzugsmilch," is available in some stores under stringent quality restrictions. Unpackaged raw milk can only be sold directly from the farm where it was produced, with a label advising it be boiled.
  • Ireland: Since 2015, raw milk production and sale have been regulated and are legal, provided farmers meet registration, inspection, and sampling requirements.
Countries with bans or stricter limits
  • Scotland: The sale of raw cow's milk for direct consumption has been banned since 1983.
  • Spain: Following concerns in 2020, regulations were tightened to require stricter hygiene and quality controls for direct farm sales of raw cow's milk.

Is beef tallow not heathier than seed oil?

Yes, and I provided a link to some science to back up his claims.

Bold reform in the medical education system.

A situation that everyone has recognized as wrong, but no one has had the gumption to fix.

Trump and RFK Jr have gumption!

Is it the real cause? Are doctors ignorant about healthy food, or is it just another B.S.! 🙂

It seems to be another example of pretending to address a real problem by targeting an irrelevant issue.

As mentioned by other posters, the real causes are the lack of industry regulations, the lack of education policies, etc....

Also far tastier. We use butter, lard, tallow other animal fats whenever possible and shudder to think of using that horrific plasticky margarine back in the days when it was supposed to be more healthy.

Nice job RFK

I saw a doctor on Youtube explain there are no nutrition classes in medical school. Or very little focus on nutrition.

Maybe a doctor on here can confirm.

Focus mostly on ailments and which drugs to cure the ailments.

If doctors have knowledge, they would need to get it on their own, independent of the training.

Were those the youtube videos you linked to? If so, is that your idea of scientific evidence?

Yes. Doctors don't get enough training in helping patients live healthier lives.. That doesn't mean that the deficit should be filled by information peddled on youtube.

Shhhh, we might have another pandemic that more decisively demonstrates the veracity of Darwin's principles.

As far as I understand, doctors don't stop their education after completing their studies. They get information from various sources, including the American Medical Association linked in my post.

Just look at this thread. Even average AN posters, who have not been trained in nutrition, seem to be well aware of nutrition guidelines. Why would doctors, whose work is about improving health, not be knowledgeable about it? It doesn't make sense at all.
