Featured Replies

ooohhh...I dont know...perhaps huge advancements in pretty much everything important in the world...medicine, the arts, architecture......etc etc for generations leads to a type of collective consciousness that is useful in running a country? Just spitballing here...

  • When people are appointed on ability and not diversity ......... expect lots of white men!

  • So picking the best people is racist now, how would it be better with a few incompetent blacks appointed ?

  • Now you're gonna claim Hillary had experience in running a country. And Kamala didn't get her experience by sucking Willy Brown.

I can overlook the all white cabinet but a staff of incompetent unprinciple sycophants who are rewarded by being loyal to Trump will only deliver trainwreck policies for the people and country. Cracks are showing in poor economic data and the tariff policies are making China looks good in supporting multilateralism that even brought praise from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. The new world order will be less America. The right will be hugging each other sobbing as US self inflict and self destruct.

Yes, we all remember the highly principled and super-competent Colin Powell lying on a global scale about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction because his  bosses told him so. Do me a favour.

What makes you think hiring black people will make the cabinet any more competent or principled? Judging by Colin Powell and Lisa Cook the opposite would seem to be the case.

Says the racist:clap2:

Racist - one of the most maligned words in current media use.

In the last election, DC vote was 90% Democrat. Think about that in terms of diversity in the halls of power.

Will take more than the GOP's current term to drain the swamp while ex officials and biased experts grab media attention and continue to whine and whine. Playing the race guard ad nauseam is so pathetic. Move on.

Silly comment that his boss told him so, show us the transcript. Colin Powell was given incorrect and faulty intelligence which he later openly regretted that he was misled. He is a giant in terms of honour and integrity compare to Marco Rubio. Rubio who teed up to Trump on multiple occasion calling him a con-man and wetting his pants and later totally lost his moral compass after his appointment as SS and said this cringeworthy praise "a great service to the world'. Do youself a favour by searching on Colin Powell integrity and you will find plenty to refer and try searching Rubio and you will only find that he is a conflicted and man full of controversy.

What about Lisa Cook? Have she been charged so far? You making moral judgement based on allegations? if so, you must have plenty to say about the 34 times convicted felon.

According to Wikipedia, "Racism is the belief that groups of humans can be divided based on inherited traits and ranked as superior or inferior." According to that definitionDEI is not inherently racist. DEI does not include or exclude applicants based on their race being ranked as superior or inferior. DEI does include or exclude applicants based on how the existing workforce's percentage of race, gender, etc., corresponds with the general public in which the business exists and to which the business provides services. This might result in an applicant's race, gender, and other factors being considered, in addition to their experience and abilities.

If any president's cabinet and federal officers were appointed using DEI, there would be about 60% White, 19% Hispanic, 12% Black, 6% Asian, and 1% American Indian.

Hahahahaha, so you're suggesting Colin Powell decided out of himself to stand before the United Nations and lie to the world how Iraq had WMDs? I rather doubt it.

Sounds super-competent. In reality we know this information was fabricated by his neocon bosses to start a war with Iraq, how dumb do we look really?

How you can say something like this when Colin Powell stood up before the world and told the biggest lie in recent history, only you will know.

We've seen the forms. Lisa Cook claimed her home address was one place, and a week later claimed it was another place. She's a total fraudster.  What you think she forgot where she lives?

Bush was a war hawk no different from Trump who dismissed intelligence that Iran wasn't building a nuclear weapon and strike Iran.

I am more looking at Lisa Cook suing Trump over attempt firing. The mortgage allegation is what is it an allegation. Still not answering my question as to why convicted felon Trump doesn't grapped your hysterical outburst.

Not really.

"A Trump administration housing official has sent a new criminal referral to the Justice Department against Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook"

The wheels of justice are in motion. I guess we'll see if she'll get indicted or not.

It is a referral to DOJ to investigate. A long way off to a formal accusation. In any case, it has nothing to do with "cause'for firing her.

“20 year combat vet “! LMAO.

He was a photographer in Afganland and wrapped in cotton wool during his “service “.

Slowly but surely. Bet there is a total restructure if the midterms go well.

Its cyclical. The ones persecuted in the past are the ones who did the persecuting over the past 10 years. That has to stop.

There’s a precedent where a government recruited streetgoons to a faux police  organisation. They were then tasked  with targeting a specific ethnic group and  encouraged to harass, detain without due process and concentrate in purpose built camps. I can’t quite put my finger on that historic precedent - maybe you could help me out here?

I cant think of any such historical precedent in a country, like the USA, that has an effective constitution, active and effective Courts, due process, a tradition of republicanism, and does not have a population imbued with racism/prejudice. What country are you thinking of?

Whites are racist.

Blacks are racist.

Asians are very racist.

But in all of these cited avobe, obviously some are,  and others are not.

Quite absurd to say these,  are... and those are,  not.

As long as society does not ask the right questions, racism will always exist.

The proper question could be is how do people who are open minded, tolerant at one stage of life, end up in being racist or xenophobic.

When the population in any society feels that ther rulers are doing more for foreign related matters and punishing their own in the process, the hostility grows. Elementary logic that unfortunately most politicians do not deem to ponder.

The golden rule is that it is never the fault of the foreigner, nor the the non white, nor the fault of the blacks or whatsoever. It's plainly the fault of poor governance, the greed and corruption from the ruling political bodies.

Who has the world's largest GDP?

At the moment the USA, but inexorably will be replaced by China in the not too distant future.

Plus due to the recent import tax policies of the USA, China, Russia and India are now pulling together into a financial union, that will make them the most powerful trading block in the world.

China has huge a military, has expanded its navy massively so in the near future the USA will have not have the power or strength to try and dictate its policies.

Like the British Empire, the USA empire has had its day, now it will soon be Asia's turn.

The problem is who decides what racism is and who is the judge and jury.

In the UK if you are white and you say for example you have had enough of the illegal immigrants who are mostly young men stepping off a dingy in the UK, who are then housed and taken to a nice hotel to stay in for free for a year or two then we are racist.

Some of them are even housed in hotels in the expensive sea side resort of Bournemouth.

If we say some of our pensioners are dying in the winter due to the fact they can not afford to heat their home and must come before illegal so called refugees then we are again racist.

I have many friends of Indian origin for example in the UK, they are the biggest racists on the planet

What I like about Thailand is for us long term farangs living there everything is in the open, racism is there for us to see and understand, we can stay as long as we pay our way, can never get a Thai passport under normal circumstances, not able to vote etc, but I like that as the Thais then know we are not scroungers.

Everyone in the government is Thai, all the newscasters on TV are Thai and they must have very white skin, no brown Thais welcome, it is funny to see.

Be as we know we are only an aeroplane ride away from home if anything turns bad.

I will be back in the land of sun next week for a year or two or more, let the fun begin.

True.

There was no expansion West when the Brits were in charge, but the settlers wanted to travel West and steal the natives land, the Brits had agreements with the natives not to do so and kept to their agreements.

So the locals decided to seize control and so the war began, the British rulers were thrown out and the settlers then went on to murder millions of natives and took their land.

Not long after the locals had learned to enjoyed the killing and so had a civil war as well. 😃

Most of the thousands of Chinese I see on holiday in Thailand each year seem pretty happy to me.

They have a semi socialist system as far as economics go, they have tended towards a form of capitalism for decades thus their very fast growth in living standards and market share worldwide, we in the West can only dream of their growth rates year on year.

But as long as we keep on following rubbish phrases like the American Dream and that the Chinese and socialists are the baddies we will be kept in place by our own system.

They seem like a very united country to me not divided like a lot of Western countries, but time will tell, I know which side I would bet on to be the dominate state in the near future.

Well watching folks relax on a beach does not tell you alot about their military and economic stregnth does it?

I assume you think that dual control over military affairs is efficient?
