RFK's Brain Worm Speaks?

I will re-post part of my previous post. If it's too deep for you, I can't help you.

This is because RFK Jr has articulated what our Democratic and Republican leaders have largely ignored: our healthcare system is a national disgrace hiding in plain sight. He recognizes the inordinate control the pharmaceutical and food industries over healthcare policy, and the revolving door that exists among congressional staffers, pharmaceutical lobbyists and corporate executives.

And apparently you believe the way to solve these problems is  for Jr. to make things even worse.

Let's see how things play out.

The "mitochondria" comment was pretty funny, actually.

Everyone seems to have lost their sense of humor in this day and age.

It is funny. It's also scary because  Jr. isn't in on the joke.

A hard time? Rebutting your nonsensical defenses of RFK's bizarre beliefs was like shooting fish in a barrel. Dead fish. Big dead fish, Big dead floaters.

And what happened with "Ok you get the last word."

It’s the worm that’s taken over now. 😂

That, and/or, his past 14 years as a heroin addict...

I mean, I don't know if it's the brain worm or the heroin history, but when I listen to the guy speak this year, he sounds like he's having some difficulty... especially when you compared with how he spoke and what he sounded like years ago.

RFK Jr. Recounts Heroin Addiction and Spiritual Awakening, Urges Focus on Prevention and Community

April 24, 2025
...
"Speaking to about 3,000 people at the Rx and Illicit Drug Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, Kennedy did not address recent budget and personnel cuts or agency reorganizations that many experts believe could jeopardize public health, including recent progress on overdose deaths.
...

Kennedy told attendees that he was addicted to heroin for 14 years, beginning when he was a teenager. During those years, he was constantly making promises to quit, both to himself and to his family.

“I didn’t want to be someone who woke up every morning thinking about drugs," he said, noting that one of the worst parts of addiction was his total “incapacity to keep contracts with myself."

I put some more thought into this as I was on my treadmill this morning.

While it may be easy to dismiss RFK as looney tunes, there's another way to look at this.

Sure, "mitochondrial challenges" might be fluff .... BUT ... how many people in his position have actually mentioned the word "mitochondria" before? How many people actually know what mitochondria even means? I have only started to educate myself on mitochondria in the past couple of years. Maybe only 5% of the population have any clue what it means.

So RFK is spewing a bunch of stuff out there which may appear nonsensical, but here we are having a conversation about mitochondria. Maybe a couple of soccer moms out there will go look it up and get their little boy off the Doritos because now they understand Doritos damages their mitochondria.

So to summarize, maybe RFK is a bit of a mad genius. Not to be taken entirely at face value and it doesn't mean you need to cling to every word he says as gospel, but he's raising awareness about health issues like no one else before him in his position.

Since most of the heads of HHS have been doctors, they all discussed mitochondria extensively in medical school.

Mitochondrial challenges is cancer. Since most children do not have cancer, I think RFKs hypothesis can be dismissed with basic high school biology.

Now go back and release the Epstein files.

As with most everything coming out of the Trump administration, the cure is worse than the disease.

You all would be cheating on your lady and hanging out at the bars if you looked like RFK Jr.

We all know the US healthcare system and the food system is a catastrophe.

Mock him all you want.  The status quo is unacceptable and people like me gave you votes to fix it, year after year.  Turn over the tables, scatter the vermin.  Time for change.  You all had your chance to fix it and blew it.

I'm not the one claiming 'that the left has made science and experts untrustworthy'. The burden of proof is on the person who is claiming. That'll be you.

Like many on this thread, you conflate several points all under the one 'US healthcare system and the food system is a catastrophe'.

JFK Jr. stance on food additives and diet is to be commended - his nonsense on vaccines is not. If he followed the science on vaccines and actually had certified experts at the CDC (after most of them have either walked out or been replaced by what can only be described as quacks) then he would get a great deal more respect from people. And this superhuman ability to just look at a child and be able to say they are  'overburdened with mitochondrial challenges' (the point of this post) is just absolutely insane.

Bit if safety is important, why fire the food inspectors? Because profits and tax rebates are what is important.

Some of his stances on diet are to be recommended. Others, like the benefits of eating french fried fried in tallow, not so much.

Most people never even heard of beef tallow until RFK started mentioning it.

Whether he is right or not, he is still getting people more interested in asking questions about health and getting more engaged.

Vegetable oils didn't exist until recently. People only had animal fats to cook with (or maybe coconut oil as well). Vegetable oils are a modern invention. And chronic illnesses and obesity are getting worse, not better.

Animal fats are making a comeback. As he says in this podcast, some restaurants have stopped using seeds oils.

But anyway, if you search online you will still find a ton of podcasts claiming beef tallow is unhealthy.

"The ancient Greeks said that the goddess Athena had created the olive tree. King David hired guards to protect Israel's olive groves and warehouses. Ancient peoples used olive oil not just for consumption and cooking, but also as perfume, anointment for the dead, soap, and lights."

Yeah and the “raw” milk thing is just bizarre

What is "bizarre" is the POLITICS which makes raw milk only legal for sale in over half of the states.

Raw milk is widely consumed in France and Italy.

You beat me to it. Apparently, sesame seed oil and mustard seed oil were also widely used in the ancient world.

HEXANE (a neurotoxin) is used in the production of canola oil.

There's all sorts of nasty crap being used to manufacture these oils.

Animal fats have no processing. ALL highly processed foods are causing health issues.

No, extra virgin olive oil does not have extensive processing like seed oils and it's way better.

But maybe for cooking at high heats, it oxidizes ...

Yet, there is still an army of fake idiots on Youtube claiming that "RFK Jr. is wrong about seed oils" and "RFK Jr has worms in his brains".

Just look into how these oils are made. They are not even meant for human consumption. It's total processed garbage. It's not real food.

But... accuracy and truth are a much better starting point for an education than any other choice.

I find it hard to believe that his intent is only the bettering of America's health.

And yet, in massive epidemiological studies, no harm has been tied the consumption of these oils. Just another case of reality revealing its unfair bias against food fantasists.

Raw milk is widely consumed in France and Italy.

And it's very tightly controlled. Here's AI on the situation in France

The French Ministry of Agriculture mandates rigorous testing of raw milk at all stages of production to ensure quality and safety.

Approved laboratories perform regular milk testing, and government inspections monitor dairies for hygiene and safety.

Health certificates:

Dairies that sell products must hold an official health and safety certificate from the state, which is essential for selling products

As for Italy:

Key Regulations for Raw Milk Sales in Italy
  • Mandatory Labeling:
Vending machines selling raw milk must clearly label it as "unpasteurized raw milk" or "latte crudo".
  • Temperature Control:
The raw milk must be stored at temperatures between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius (32 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Daily Removal:

Any unsold milk from the previous day must be removed from the vending machine and discarded each morning.

Whereas in the USA it's regulated by the States.

The thing is, low temperature pasteurized milk tastes the same as raw milk but is obviously safer. It does cost more to process it that way.
