No they were not screwed by PT if you were following the news.

PT screwed the electorate and  the PP. They promised the voters they would never join the junta supporting parties after the election, then they did just that

Utterly untrustworthy, but then so are Bhumjaithai.

  • Didn't they (PP) get screwed last time with Pheu Thai going back on some promises about who they would work with?

  • He should tell Thaksin to go run and jump... He cannot be trusted to fulfill any promises.

  • Everyone Thaksin gets involve with eventually gets thrown under the bus. One thing is sure, Teflon Tony has no shame, not even with his own family.

The collusion of these two guys would be Thailand worst nightmare.

Nice pint but I wonder if Thaksin has realized that he should start to listen to Khun Thanathorn.

Thaksin's not making much progress of late.

Not even close, the worst would be yet another coup led by the usual military thugs.

Not so easy to pull of a coup now as before

If you need me to explain further clearly you haven’t be updated

Dun take things at face value

He was picking them off one by one after PT in power. That is why Anutin counter attacked.

The Thai circus - meanwhile Viet Nam is all steam ahead on stealing the fire from Thailand economically at least.

Also, no limit effecfively on prepaid tourist visa entry visas on-going....'welcome'...

We can go round in circles on what is a tourist forever but some people have passive income and preper to use that route of stay overseas for as long as possible.

Focused on forming a stable government,

Then they should kick Thaksin out of the country, nothing more than problem sinse the fugitive arrived.

This is disappointing news.

Not sure how the Orange supporters will react to this?

Drafting a new charter, or even amending the current one, would take years.

What is the worst option for PP? Ally with PTP (already discussed in this thread), or ally with BJT (the successor of Junta parties)?

Indeed the PP would be seen as selling out if they align with BJT

PT for all their flaws is the lesser of 2 evils

what would happen if PP stays in the opposition and either PT or BJT gives their support or votes?

Thanathorn will lose all credibility for the PP if he gets in bed with PT. It's not what their new generation voters want.

Thailand has had 20 constitutions. We all know the one thing that is missing. Like him or not, the only real 'progressive' constitution was Thaksin's. I was not aware two of Thanatorn's relatives were Cabinet members. Pita was the only hope for Thailand since Pridi and the cronies can't have that.

Sure I know a coup won't be as easy as last time. Taksin has a good friend, I'll leave it there.

Exactly. I wouldn't believe a word of what Thaksin says if i was them.
