Most people aren't to the far left, and are just conservative, but many use the word "leftists" way too much. I'm in the middle, not being political but just looking at what they actually promise and deliver, and have been this way since Kennedy.

 

Of course some are going to compare him to Hitler, or any other world leader who's a obvious malignant narcissist, even though he isn't doing the damage Hitler did. We can only hope that he will use the power he has to help the average American and not the rich, and use that power to do things the average American needs, besides just exerting that power towards the borders and foreign trade. America needs help in many ways, from insurance, food costs, the homeless, veterans with PTSD, animals and many other things and he only has a little over three more years to fix things.

 

We all know his character, what he really is, but again, someone in his power can do a lot of good in his term, so that's what we're all hoping for. I'm sure people who oppose him would like to see him do well, so they can look back and say, "I guess I was wrong about him", but time will tell.

Wrong meaning those who oppose him won't come around and say he's done good? Of course some are in a constant state of denial. I've watched Trump long before he became the president and see what he is as a person, but that doesn't mean he can't do any good. He, along with others behind him, have some good ideas, as does the other side, but fighting between themselves is how things take awhile to change.

 

I saw his hesitancy when Covid started, and thought he could have done a much better job if his ego wasn't in the way. People have a tendency to put all the blame on the president, and think everything he does is all his ideas. He signs on things people behind him bring about, which is his job.

 

We all can see what he actually says and what's recorded, so some of it is out there, but again, in the long run, we hope things will change for the better for all Americans. You can't hide bad actions no matter what words were used. He obviously likes America, but will he do things that will help and not hurt thinking this way? America needs all other countries for something, and America has all other countries people living there, so you can't make enemies as that'll backfire eventually. America does have to come first, but that doesn't mean you neglect your neighbors and allies.

He has a little over three years to really do the job he needs to do, but he'll never match up to what some other presidents have done unless he has some miracles happen. Looking at what Roosevelt, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Washington, Lincoln, Harding and McKinley, along with a few others have done,it'll be nearly impossible to match that history.
