Locked out of Lazada and others

Hi, whatever I do I can't get back into my Lazada account, it says wrong email or password, but its not, tried setting a new password no that did not work either đŸ˜ĸ

Have you tried on a different device phone/computer/laptop  ?

And you have not registered your phone number with them?

I use that when on desktop PC.

They send an SMS with code to login.

This is a relatively new laptop and had to set up a new email that worked until last week.

Just tried that and got as far as province, and location, after that can not put in street name etc.

Have you refused/returned/not paid for orders recently? Saying wrong email or password even after resetting can mean you are banned/blacklisted from using them. Either by IP, device and address or all.

Yes , I had that too , a 24 hour wait.

Make sure you put the right bit of your address in the correct box. I have had this problem before with other apps/companies.

There is a customer service number. Call them!!!

Yep I checked that number its either Malaysia or the USA

If in Thailand dial the Bangkok number on Thai website of course

Have had login issues in the past. Try chat, they can be quite useful.

I'm in a similar situation, and to make it worse, the AIS phone number I've used for over 18 months was once registered to some Indian guy (with an IPhone) and Lazada won't let me open a new account with that phone number, either.  I even called their help line and had a very nice conversation in great English and a promise to fix it, but no luv from them.

 

It's a little disturbing that I know (from Lazada) that the guy who registered that phone number with them has an Indian name and a specific model of IPhone.  I'm surprised they didn't give me his credit card number, too.

 

(Edit:  The whole story is that I let my old phone number lapse when I was out of Thailand for a few years during Covid.  When I started traveling to LOS again, I ordered some stuff but they delivered it to my old apartment where I no longer live.  When I tried to update my address and phone number on the account, no could do.  When I tried to open a new account, no could do.)

 

BTW, I did literally hundreds of transactions with Lazada during the years I worked in Bangkok.  Never had a problem.  I miss Lazada.

The number I called was a genuine "talk to a live human being" line, not a chat.  Only available during normal working hours and not on weekends.  The nice lady I talked to spoke great English, but she had to count on the back room to actually do the software tweaks.

 

Call them.  They may be able to solve your issue.
