True for many people, but shooting at a human, especially if you've never done so before, has a lot of nervous tension going on, which can be seen when that kid tried to kill Trump from a very close range. A tiny movement by you or the target has either a total miss or a grazing hit. Not many can hit a still target at 200 yards, and any movement by Kirk could have changed this. The shot might have been towards his chest and hit his neck, which most times is a fatal hit, especially with a hunting round. Even the chest hit with a hunting caliber ends up being a fatal wound.

Help me out here.  I don't recall anyone who did that at a BLM protest.   I do recall a guy who shot some people who foolishly attacked him, but all of that was well documented with video.

As you may recall, he was found not guilty at trial, mostly because of the video evidence that the people he shot attacked him first.  He had the right to carry the AR15 and the right to use it to defend himself against attack.

 

Edit:  And I would add that he wasn't like the cowardly lefties sneaking around and shooting people.  He was carrying his AR15 openly.

Against unarmed people? A guy grabbed the gun after he shot someone. He was unarmed. Take that up with the jury who found him not guilty.  I'm not going to rehash the entire timeline.  Personally, I think the guy's an idiot.  But not a murderer.  And being an idiot is not illegal.  The jury agreed, after seeing hours and hours of evidence.  Not just MSM soundbites.

Ronnie, just because the shooter hit the neck does not mean that was his point of aim  . Chances were he was aiming for a body shot or trying to get lucky with a head shot.
