Keep your Mach, or any blade, in a small cup of vegetable oil. Stops the edge of the blade from oxidising, which causes the bluntness, and gives good lube at the start. 

My Machs have a blue strip above the actual blades which turns white as I use them. The last blade has been white for about two months and still as good as new.
